LEG3ND MBS Yoke and DIN

The first inhalation under water is the start of a new adventure. The revolutionary combination of venturi effect and inhalation effort adjustment is natural and intuitive. Aqua Lung`s Master Breathing System allows divers to control both in one simple rotation. All depths, all conditions, all dives MBS will adapt.

The Master Breathing System is a new way to adjust the comfort on a second stage. The diver can perfectly master breathing comfort in one simple rotation. The MBS is a unique combined adjustment, it controls the inhalation effort and the venturi effect automatically.

With the MBS on minimum position (only one full rotation): The spring is fully compressed and the inhalation effort is about 3 mbar higher.
A free flow is contained when the venturi blade restricts the injection outlet.

With the MBS on maximum position :
The injection of the airstream is unrestricted and the flow is maximized.

Wrapture TM Harness System

The WraptureTM Harness System provides comfort and stability. It allows a diver, wearing a cylinder, to stand up straight when out of the water.
The Backplate is very thin to keep cylinder close to the centre of gravity of the diver. It lowers the tank band and places it next to the waistband to keep primary weight on the hips as opposed to the shoulders and it laterally stabilizes the cylinder to keep it from swinging. The Valve Retention Strap pulls the top of the cylinder in close which shifts the weight downwards while taking stress off the shoulders. Thus the cylinder remains perfectly vertical. Note: Do not tighten all the way, just enough to keep cylinder vertical. A sheet of LDPE (low-density polyethylene) plastic wraps around the diver ́s body for comfort and stability. It works in conjunction with the shoulder swivel buckles (patented) and supports the weight pockets. Keeping the back pad pulled in against the back it prevents ride-up. The swivels shoulder buckles allow the shoulder strap to swivel backwards so that it can run under the diver’s arm. The strap remains flat against the body and prevents ride-up of the BC.

i3: Innovative – Intelligent – Intuitive
The I3 technology is a single touch control for both inflation and deflation.

• The tactile lever is easy to locate because the i3 never moves like a traditional inflator at the end of a floppy hose.
• Intuitive control – lift up to inflate, push down to deflate.
• When the levered is moving down, it opens all of the flate-valves at once.

The oral inflator is easy to locate and deploy and can be stowed out of the way. The rubber lip block allows easy inflation even in the coldest waters. Just push against lips to open the valve. Can be removed to access rinsing port or to add a Powerline Inflator (if desired).

Aqua Lung Mask Technologies

Pressure Reduction Zones
Pressure reduction zones are incorporated into the silicone skirt at strategic points to help relieve the pressure of the mask on long dives. This engineered design utilizes these reinforced zones to improve also skirt stability at traditional weak points.

Advanced fit technology
The current technologies used in the Impression, Linea, Mission and Mission Midi, Plazma, Reveal X1 and X2 are based on further innovation from years of R&D in developing a skirt geometry that fits the maximum amount of faces. The Advanced Fit Technology (AFT), is the use of mixing both matte and gloss textured surfaces to improve sealing and aid comfort. The latest advancement in innovation is our Skirt Stabilization Zones (SSZ). This is found on the new PLAZMA mask where the combination of Frameless technology and SSZ gives reinforcement of the skirt structure to reduce pressure and face fatigue.

Frameless
This is a bonded process where the actual silicone is attached directly to the lens, reducing the need for a frame and producing a mask with a super compact and close-fitting design.

Buckle system
From the Cardanic Joint Buckles that rotate both up-and-down and in-and-out for a customized and pinch-free fit buckles to the new Quick Fit Buckles. The one-touch button release that allows for easy adjustment for the best fit, even while wearing thick gloves. The buckles are attached directly to the silicone skirt in order to provide stability on the face. Our buckles are built to last the lifetime of your mask.

Environmental friendly Wetsuits

Aqua Lung is committed to using environmentally friendly materials and processes whenever possible, to help reduce our carbon footprint.

Water-based Glue
We turned solvent-based laminating glue into water-based glue, eliminating harmful volatile organic compounds.

Dope-Dyed Yarn
Dope-dying infuses dye pigments into a molten plastic solution to produce coloured yarns without dying process. This saves tremendous amounts of water while reducing energy consumption and water pollution.

Eco Carbon black
Carbo black, one of the key ingredients of neoprene, can now be pyrolyzed from scrap rubber tires. This significantly reduces energy consumption and reduces CO2 emission by 200g per wetsuit.

Ultra-flexible neoprene
Aqua Lung has innovated its own super-stretch neoprene material called AquaFlex. Aquaflex is used throughout the whole suit, our AquaFlex neoprene has three times the stretch of standard neoprene and is available in our premium wetsuits.

Aqua Lung Rashguards

Aqua Lungs range of rashguards is all UPF50+ for better protection against UVA and UVB. Thanks to the polyester, they are long-lasting in pools and highly chlorine resistant. Wearing one of these also eliminates the use of chemical sunscreen, thus protecting the reefs.
