Salvimar Metal Roller Speargun 105 cm
The Salvimar Metal Roller combines a 105 cm aluminium rail barrel with a Formula R roller muzzle and a 6.5 mm Capture shaft. It offers a roller setup with an adjustable METAL trigger mechanism, a removable loading butt and a side line release that can be configured for either side of the gun.
Formula R roller muzzle and 16 mm rubbers
The roller band pair uses 16 mm rubber routed around the muzzle rollers, with anchor points beneath the gun for band pre-tension. The muzzle’s shape helps guide the shaft into position and keeps the rubbers aligned alongside the barrel. A separate loading-assist band is included to help you reach and load the roller setup.
Aluminium barrel with a continuous shaft guide
The aircraft-grade aluminium-alloy barrel incorporates a continuous rail to support the shaft along the gun. Its slim profile helps keep the gun manageable when tracking through the water. The supplied Capture shaft is 6.5 mm in diameter and made from 17-4PH stainless steel, with raised loading tabs.
METAL reverse-sear mechanism
The METAL mechanism places the shaft engagement farther back in the handle, making more of the gun’s length available for band stretch. Its internal stainless-steel components are made using metal injection moulding. Trigger sensitivity can be adjusted using Salvimar’s system, and the rear side line release can be set on the left or right to suit your rigging preference.
Removable loading butt and accessory mounting
The chest-loading butt can be removed when required. The handle also has Salvimar’s integrated mounting system for compatible accessories, including reel fittings and roller-band anchors. This gives you a mounting point when adapting the setup to your preferred rigging.
Care, rinsing and storage
Rinse the unloaded gun with fresh water after each dive, paying particular attention to the roller muzzle, shaft rail, handle, line release and loading tabs. Allow it to dry in the shade before storage. Keep the rubbers away from heat and direct sunlight, and check the band attachments, loading-assist band, shaft and shooting line for wear before use. Follow Salvimar’s instructions for roller rigging, loading, trigger adjustment and maintenance.
