Rob Allen Mahi Carbon Roller Gun
The Rob Allen Mahi Carbon Roller Gun combines a carbon rail barrel with a ceramic-bearing roller muzzle and the Vecta2 handle. Supplied with 16 mm rubbers, a 7.5 mm notched spring-steel shaft and 1.9 mm UHMPE Ant Line, it offers a complete roller setup in 80, 90, 100 and 110 cm lengths.
Carbon barrel with an integrated rail
The carbon-fibre barrel keeps weight down while providing stiffness, and the integral rail supports the shaft along the barrel. Rob Allen uses a pull-winding process to manufacture its carbon barrels. Each barrel undergoes two pressure checks: an initial air test after manufacture, followed by a hydraulic test after assembly equivalent to 40 metres of depth for one hour.
Ceramic rollers and supplied rigging
Four ceramic bearings support smooth movement at the roller muzzle. The supplied setup uses two 16 mm rubbers and a 7.5 mm notched spring-steel shaft. Shooting line is 1.9 mm UHMPE Ant Line, rated at 220 kg, providing a strong connection between the shaft and speargun.
Vecta2 handle and practical fittings
The Vecta2 handle includes a stainless-steel line release to manage the shooting line. Its loading butt provides a more comfortable contact point during loading, and the integrated reel adaptor gives you a mounting point for a compatible reel.

Care and storage
Rinse the barrel, handle, muzzle, shaft and line with fresh water after use. Allow the equipment to dry out of direct sunlight and store it in a cool, dry place. Check the rubbers and shooting line for wear, and follow Rob Allen’s care guidance for the spring-steel shaft and moving parts.
