Junior age labels are a starting point, so check your child’s current measurements against the product’s size guide. The suit should sit close to the body while allowing comfortable swimming, movement and breathing. Check the fit around the neck, wrists and ankles, and ask our Hallam team if you are between sizes.
Check coverage and local conditions
Long sleeves, long legs, a hood and gloves help reduce exposed skin. No suit guarantees protection from every sting. Follow local beach signs, closures and lifeguard advice, keep children closely supervised, and use suitable sun protection on exposed skin. A garment’s UV rating applies to covered skin and does not measure protection against marine stings.
Stinger suit or kids wetsuit?
A lightweight stinger suit provides fabric coverage with limited insulation. For cooler water or when warmth is the priority, compare kids wetsuits. Choose clothing for the water temperature, activity and your child’s comfort.
