Cressi Impulse White Freediving Package

The white Impulse package combines Cressi Gara Modular Impulse fins with a Calibro mask and Corsica open-top snorkel. It is a long-fin setup for trained freedivers or experienced snorkellers who can manage the additional blade length.

Mask features

• Integrated Dual Frame construction places the lenses close to the eyes.

Snorkel features

• Flexible polyurethane tube: The tube has elastic memory, allowing it to flex and recover its shape. Reinforcement around the keeper helps support the attachment area.
• Soft silicone mouthpiece: A thin gum flange and rounded bite supports provide a softer contact around your mouth.
• Close-fitting curve: The tube follows the side of your head to keep your surface-breathing setup compact.
• Simple open top: The straightforward design has no dry-top closure. Clear water from the tube when you return to the surface.

Fin features

• Gara Modular construction: removable blades allow compatible replacement and more compact packing.
• Elastomerised technopolymer blade: flexible sections and supporting rails manage the blade’s flex.
• Multi-compound pocket: softer foot-contact areas combine with firmer supporting sections.
• 29° blade angle: positions the blade relative to the foot pocket.
• Long Impulse format: offers a longer blade profile than the Gara Modular Sprint.

Mask fit and choosing a gift

Face width, shape and nose-pocket comfort matter more than a general age or gender label. Keep hair clear of the skirt and check for an even seal without pressure around the brow or cheeks. Cressi Gara Modular Impulse size and fit guide

Overall length measures the complete fin, not your foot. This chart is for the Gara Modular Impulse, not the Gara Turbo pocket. The wider pocket is intended to be checked with neoprene socks; avoid using age or an automatic size-down rule.

All sizing is a guide only; foot width and shape affect the fit. Try the pocket with the socks you intend to use, if applicable. It should hold your foot securely without curled toes, pinching or excessive movement. Do not select a loose size simply to leave growing room.

To measure your feet, place paper against a wall, stand with your heel gently against the wall and mark your longest toe. Measure from the wall to the mark in centimetres. Repeat for the other foot and use the longer measurement. Where a model has no foot-length chart, contact us with that measurement and your usual shoe size rather than using another fin model’s chart.

Choosing long fins

Select blade length and stiffness for your ability, intended use and travel plans. A long-fin package does not replace freediving training or appropriate buddy procedures. Check any modular fixing parts before use and confirm compatibility before purchasing replacement blades.

Using and caring for your equipment

A snorkel supplies air only while its opening is above the water. A dry top helps limit incoming water but does not allow underwater breathing. Practise fitting, breathing and clearing in calm, shallow conditions before a longer swim.

Care and storage

Rinse the mask, snorkel and fins in fresh water after each swim, removing sand from the buckles, straps and snorkel top. Allow everything to dry in the shade before storage. Use a suitable anti-fog treatment as directed and avoid abrasive cleaners, toothpaste or flame treatments. Check the skirt, mouthpiece, valves and straps before each use.
