Mask fit and choosing a gift
Face width, shape and nose-pocket comfort matter more than a general age or gender label. Keep hair clear of the skirt and check for an even seal without pressure around the brow or cheeks. Use light strap tension. For a gift, confirm the recipient’s mask fit and fin size; our Hallam team can help compare options.
Cressi Calibro size chart
This chart applies to the Cressi Calibro mask in this set.
| Manufacturer skirt-fit guide | Between narrow and regular (Cressi chart marker) |
|---|---|
| Skirt chart measurements | A: 11.2 cm; B: 10.3 cm (Cressi chart references) |
| Nose-area chart measurements | C: 3.8 cm; D: 5.3 cm (Cressi chart references) |
| Manufacturer nose-size scale | 5 on Cressi’s 1–5 reference scale |
Cressi’s measurements are reference points on the diagram. They describe the skirt and nose area, rather than overall frame dimensions or a guaranteed facial fit. Check the seal and nose-pocket comfort before choosing.

Cressi Gara Modular Sprint size and fit guide
| EU pocket size | Overall fin length |
|---|---|
| 36/37 | 67.1 cm |
| 38/39 | 68.3 cm |
| 40/41 | 70.0 cm |
| 42/43 | 71.2 cm |
| 44/45 | 72.5 cm |
| 46/47 | 73.4 cm |
Overall length measures the complete fin, not your foot. This chart is for the Gara Modular Sprint, not the Gara Turbo pocket. The wider pocket is intended to be checked with neoprene socks; avoid using age or an automatic size-down rule.

All sizing is a guide only; foot width and shape affect the fit. Try the pocket with the socks you intend to use, if applicable. It should hold your foot securely without curled toes, pinching or excessive movement. Do not select a loose size simply to leave growing room.
To measure your feet, place paper against a wall, stand with your heel gently against the wall and mark your longest toe. Measure from the wall to the mark in centimetres. Repeat for the other foot and use the longer measurement. Where a model has no foot-length chart, contact us with that measurement and your usual shoe size rather than using another fin model’s chart.
Choosing long fins
Select blade length and stiffness for your ability, intended use and travel plans. A long-fin package does not replace freediving training or appropriate buddy procedures. Check any modular fixing parts before use and confirm compatibility before purchasing replacement blades.
Using and caring for your equipment
A snorkel supplies air only while its opening is above the water. The Corsica has an open top, so water can enter when it is submerged or covered by a wave. Practise fitting, breathing and clearing in calm, shallow conditions before a longer swim.
Assembly may be required: Your fins may arrive with the blades and foot pockets packaged separately. Watch our step-by-step fitting video below for assembly guidance. Fixing hardware and fitting steps may vary by model.
How to Fit Cressi Gara Modular Foot Pockets
Watch how to fit Cressi Gara Modular foot pockets to compatible fin blades. Confirm that your blades and fixing kit match the pockets, follow Cressi’s instructions and check that the assembly is securely retained before use.
Care and storage
Compatible cleaning products
For standard uncoated mask glass, TUSA TEC52 anti-fog treatment is an option when permitted by the mask and treatment instructions. For any selected neoprene boots, socks or strap cover, we recommend Cressi Neoclean Wetsuit Wash or Revivex Wetsuit Shampoo to clean compatible neoprene. Wash that component separately according to its care label and the cleaner’s dilution instructions, then rinse thoroughly and dry in the shade. These neoprene cleaners are not a recommendation for the mask lens or a regulator assembly.
Rinse the mask, snorkel and fins in fresh water after each swim, removing sand from the buckles, straps and snorkel top. Allow everything to dry in the shade before storage. Use a suitable anti-fog treatment as directed and avoid abrasive cleaners, toothpaste or flame treatments. Check the skirt, mouthpiece, valves and straps before each use.
