Ocean Hunter Phantom Freediving Package

The Ocean Hunter Phantom package combines the Phantom Camo mask and Chameleon open-top snorkel with Redback fins. It is a coordinated low-profile setup for surface swims and trained freediving, with the fin pocket fitted separately from the mask.

Mask fit and choosing a gift

Face width, shape and nose-pocket comfort matter more than a general age or gender label. Keep hair clear of the skirt and check for an even seal without pressure around the brow or cheeks. Ocean Hunter Redback size and fit guide

These are the shoe-size guides supplied with this listing. Check the pocket with the socks you will wear. Replacement carbon blades are sold separately and must match the pocket attachment system.

All sizing is a guide only; foot width and shape affect the fit. Try the pocket with the socks you intend to use, if applicable. It should hold your foot securely without curled toes, pinching or excessive movement. Do not select a loose size simply to leave growing room.

To measure your feet, place paper against a wall, stand with your heel gently against the wall and mark your longest toe. Measure from the wall to the mark in centimetres. Repeat for the other foot and use the longer measurement. Where a model has no foot-length chart, contact us with that measurement and your usual shoe size rather than using another fin model’s chart.

Choosing long fins

Select blade length and stiffness for your ability, intended use and travel plans. A long-fin package does not replace freediving training or appropriate buddy procedures. Check any modular fixing parts before use and confirm compatibility before purchasing replacement blades.

Using and caring for your equipment

A snorkel supplies air only while its opening is above the water. A dry top helps limit incoming water but does not allow underwater breathing. Practise fitting, breathing and clearing in calm, shallow conditions before a longer swim.

Care and storage

Compatible cleaning products

For standard uncoated mask glass, TUSA TEC52 anti-fog treatment is an option when permitted by the mask and treatment instructions. For a separate neoprene strap cover, if you use one, we recommend Cressi Neoclean Wetsuit Wash or Revivex Wetsuit Shampoo to clean compatible neoprene. Wash that component separately according to its care label and the cleaner’s dilution instructions, then rinse thoroughly and dry in the shade. These neoprene cleaners are not a recommendation for the mask lens or a regulator assembly.

Rinse the mask, snorkel and fins in fresh water after each swim, removing sand from the buckles, straps and snorkel top. Allow everything to dry in the shade before storage. Use a suitable anti-fog treatment as directed and avoid abrasive cleaners, toothpaste or flame treatments. Check the skirt, mouthpiece, valves and straps before each use.
