How to measure
- Ask someone to help. Stand upright, look forward and keep your feet flat on the floor. Use a soft tape held close to the body without pulling it tight.
- Height, head and neck: use the measuring points in Waterproof’s diagram.
- Chest or bust: measure around the fullest part, keeping the tape level.
- Waist: measure around your natural waist between your ribs and hips.
- Hips: measure around the widest part with your feet together.
- Neck to crotch: follow the body from the prominent bone at the back/base of your neck to the centre of the crotch.
- Neck to wrist: measure from the same neck point, over the shoulder and along the arm to the wrist.
- Inside leg: measure crotch to ankle for a wetsuit; crotch to floor for a drysuit. Use the matching row in the table.
All body measurements are in centimetres. Select the correct standard, tall or plus fit. For a drysuit, allow room for your usual undergarments; ask us if you are between sizes.

Follow the numbered diagram: 2 head circumference; 3 neck; 4 chest; 5 waist; 6 widest hip circumference. Measure 7 from the prominent bone at the base of the back of your neck (C7) to the centre of the crotch, following the diagram; measure 8 from the same neck point across the shoulder to the wrist with your arm out. For 9a, measure crotch to floor for a drysuit; for 9b, measure crotch to ankle for a wetsuit. Use the matching row for your suit type and take measurements in centimetres.

The Waterproof D3 Ergo men’s drysuit is built around lightweight, flexible trilaminate fabric and a streamlined fit. It is a useful choice when freedom of movement and manageable packing weight are priorities, with replaceable silicone seals, practical pockets and reinforced knees for regular scuba diving.
Features and benefits
- Lightweight trilaminate shell: the soft three-layer fabric provides the dry barrier while allowing you to choose undergarments for the water conditions. The shaped torso and limbs reduce unnecessary bulk.
- YKK plastic back dry zip: a flexible main closure sits across the back. Keep the sealing surfaces clean and check that the zip is fully closed before diving.
- Lightweight leg pockets: two accessible pockets carry suitable essentials without adding heavy external storage.
- Reinforced knees: Kevlar knee areas resist abrasion and have pockets for optional protective padding.
- Soft boots and a grippy seat: the lightweight boots reduce bulk around the feet, while the seat treatment helps prevent slipping when seated on a boat.
- Replaceable silicone seals: the SI TECH Quick Neck and QCS wrist rings retain the seals mechanically, allowing compatible worn or damaged seals to be replaced without gluing a new seal directly to the suit.
- Warm Neck and Warm Cuffs: outer neoprene covers reduce water movement around the neck and wrists and help protect the seals. The cuffs can be detached when your setup requires it.
- SI TECH valves: a swivelling inlet lets the inflation hose sit conveniently; the adjustable automatic exhaust controls release of suit gas during a properly managed ascent.
What is included
The suit is supplied with SI TECH valves, a low-pressure inflation hose, a Waterproof carry bag, suspenders and a spare silicone seal kit. A seal tool is included.
Dry-glove compatibility
The fitted neck and wrist systems accept specific replacement seals. Original Ultima/standard Ultima Twist compatibility depends on the wrist-ring size: larger rings on 3XL and 3XL/t+ suits do not accept the standard system directly. Confirm the ring system before buying dry gloves.

Fit and use
Choose your size with the intended undergarments on and check that you can reach your valves, bend your knees and bring your arms across your chest. Boot fit and seal fit also matter. Drysuit training, correct inflation and venting, and checks before every dive are essential. Ask our Hallam team if you need help with sizing or compatibility.
Care
Rinse the exterior after use, keep sand and grit out of the valves and dry zip, and dry fully before storage. Protect the silicone seals from sharp nails and jewellery. Use the lubricant specified for the fitted zip and follow the Waterproof drysuit manual for cleaning, storage and servicing.
