AVATAR Airon Drysuit 102 Mens
The Avatar 102 AIRON Men's drysuit uses a breathable four-layer membrane with an Oxford nylon outer fabric. Its telescopic torso, reinforced wear areas and two organised thigh pockets suit divers who want a practical front-entry drysuit for recreational and technical diving.
Features and Details
- Breathable four-layer Oxford nylon membrane, with a fabric weight of 260 g/m².
- Ergonomic men's cut without crossing seams at the underarms and crotch.
- Telescopic torso, internal suspenders and a crotch strap.
- Plastic front dry zip protected by a fabric cover.
- Two deep thigh pockets with wet-note spaces, bungee retention, drainage and zipped flap pockets.
- High-visibility orange left pocket and orange internal suspenders.
- Reinforcement at the knees, elbows, seat and crotch.
- Latex neck seal with neoprene warmer and Smart Seals wrist system.
How the Features Help
The Oxford outer layer adds wear resistance while the membrane allows water vapour to pass through. The suit still needs a suitable undersuit: the waterproof shell and the insulation perform different jobs.
The shaped cut and telescopic torso help with reaching equipment. Organised pockets give clipped accessories a dedicated place, with drainage to release water after the dive.

Fit and Use
Compare your measurements with the model’s size guide and check the fit wearing the intended base layers, insulation and footwear. Reach overhead, bend and adopt your normal diving position without pulling tightly across the shoulders or crotch. Select the complete insulation system for your conditions, duration and personal needs; use a drysuit with appropriate training and the supplied instructions.
Fit and Configuration
Avatar supplies standard suit sizes rather than made-to-measure patterns. Different neck-seal, wrist-seal and boot sizes can be requested; confirm the exact combination and delivery time with Dive Gear Australia before ordering.
The Smart Seals wrist system allows compatible seals to be changed and can be used with the optional Smart Gloves dry-glove system. Dry gloves, P-valves and an undersuit are separate unless expressly included in your order.
Check the drysuit with your intended insulation and thermal socks. You should be able to reach overhead, hug your shoulders and kneel without the suit pulling tightly.
Gear Care and Washing
Rinse the exterior with fresh water after diving. Avatar's care table specifies hand washing at 40°C and drip drying. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, bleach, iron or dry-clean; follow the suit label and manual.
Dry the suit fully in a shaded, ventilated place. Keep the dry zip clean and use the specified lubricant and storage position for that zip. Inspect the seals, seams, zip and valves before diving, and arrange servicing when needed.
