How to measure for your Santi or Avatar drysuit
All body measurements in centimetres (cm). Use this measuring reference with the correct manufacturer table for your model and cut.
Before you start
Ask another person to measure you while you stand upright and look ahead. Wear thin, close-fitting clothing and use a soft tape marked in centimetres. Hold the tape against the body without compressing it. Record the actual body measurements; do not add extra room for an undersuit. Measure twice and resolve any difference before choosing a size.
Body measurements
- Height
- Barefoot, floor to the top of your head.
- Chest / bust
- Around the fullest part. Record breathing out and in.
- Waist
- For the men’s method, measure around navel level. For the women’s method, mark the natural waist with a narrow belt. Use the same marked line for back and side lengths.
- Hips
- Around the widest part of your seat and hips.
- Body trunk
- Start at the centre of the front neck base, take the tape down the front, between the legs through the crotch, and up the back to the prominent bone at the base of the neck. Follow the body contours. If measured in two sections, add them together.
- Inner arm
- With the arm extended straight out, measure along the underside from armpit to wrist. This is the inner-arm field in the size table.
- Bicep
- Measure around the widest relaxed upper arm. Tell your fitter if muscle flexion changes the measurement substantially.
- Forearm
- Around the widest part of your forearm.
- Inner leg
- Crotch to floor while standing barefoot.
- Thigh
- Around the thigh, 5 cm below the crotch.
- Calf
- Measure around the widest calf point. Keep this separate from calf height or the additional circumference taken 20 cm above the floor.
Additional fitting measurements
- Shoulder width
- Measure between the shoulder points across the back.
- Outer arm
- With the arm extended, measure from the back-neck bone across the shoulder to the wrist.
- Back length
- Measure from the back-neck bone down to the marked waist.
- Bust height and side length
- For fields on the women’s form: front neck base to bust point, and armpit to marked waist. Record these separately.
- Foot length
- Measure heel to longest toe while standing. Check both feet and record each in cm. Confirm footwear fit with the thermal socks you intend to use.
Check the fit with your diving layers
Try the suit with your intended undersuit and thermal socks. Check comfortable breathing, overhead reach, a shoulder hug and kneeling. Have your fitter check restriction, excess fabric, footwear and seals.
Avatar: choose from the model’s standard sizes. Santi: use the model’s size table; any modified or made-to-measure order needs the current manufacturer form and a dealer fitting. Measurements taken at home are a useful starting point, rather than a final custom-order specification.

SANTI Elite Plus Drysuit
The E.Lite+ drysuit combines advanced durability with cutting-edge textile technology, perfect for extreme diving conditions. Building on the exceptional quality of the E.Lite model, it features a new flexible and soft-touch fabric that enhances comfort. Critical areas prone to damage and abrasion are reinforced with Santi’s exclusive durable E.Lite fabric.
This combination of features is delivered in a modern elegant and highly ergonomic cut, maximising comfort and convenience during dives. The E.Lite+ offers protection where it’s most needed while maintaining excellent mobility.
Standard equipment includes a newly designed hood with an innovative cut made from highly flexible neoprene. The outer layer is jersey and the inner surface features a “smooth skin” finish. The hood closely adapts to the head shape, is easy to put on and remove even wet, and provides a comfortable non-restrictive fit.
Lightweight and soft, the suit is ideal for travel. Its strength and durability meet the demands of even experienced cave and wreck divers. It’s suitable for both heavy technical diving and recreational and sport diving.

- Material: Ripstop Nylon / Butylene / Ripstop Nylon 365–425 g/sqm and Ripstop Nylon / Butylene / Polyester 515 g/sqm
- Upper suit, upper front, and back of lower legs made from elastic, lightweight fabric (365–425 g/sqm)
- Back, elbows, lumbar area, and lower front legs made from E.Lite fabric (515 g/m²)
