Rob Allen Scorpia Railgun 70–110 cm
The Rob Allen Scorpia Railgun combines an aircraft-grade aluminium rail barrel, Vecta2 handle and a single 16 mm rubber in a straightforward speargun for reef spearfishing. Available in 70, 80, 90, 100 and 110 cm barrel lengths, it gives you a choice of a shorter, more compact setup or a longer railgun to suit your diving conditions.
Aluminium rail barrel and closed muzzle
The integrated shaft rail supports the spear along the barrel, while the closed muzzle helps keep it positioned during loading. The supplied 16 mm latex rubber uses a Dyneema bridle, and the Vecta2 handle pairs a soft-touch grip with a sear-activated line release.
Shaft matched to the gun length
Each Scorpia is fitted with an oil-quenched carbon-alloy spring-steel shaft. The 70 cm and 80 cm models have a 6.6 mm shaft; the 90 cm, 100 cm and 110 cm models have a 7 mm shaft. This size-specific setup is worth considering alongside the barrel length when choosing your gun.

Care after each dive
Rinse the unloaded speargun thoroughly in fresh water, paying attention to the handle, trigger mechanism, muzzle and shooting line. Dry the shaft and store the gun in a cool, shaded place. Check the rubber, bridle, shaft and shooting line for wear before use.
