The options above are shoe-size or model labels, not foot-length measurements in centimetres. Use them as a starting guide and check the actual foot pocket fit. Do not apply another brand’s centimetre conversion to this set.
To measure your feet, place paper against a wall, stand with your heel gently against the wall and mark your longest toe. Measure from the wall to the mark in centimetres. Repeat for the other foot and use the longer measurement. Where a model has no foot-length chart, contact us with that measurement and your usual shoe size rather than using another fin model’s chart.
Size charts are a guide only; individual fit varies with foot shape. Check both feet and try the fins with any socks you intend to use. The pocket should hold the foot securely without curled toes, pinching or excessive movement. If you are between sizes, ask our Hallam team for fitting help.
Mask and snorkel fit
Face width, shape and nose-pocket comfort determine mask fit. Keep hair clear of the skirt, use light strap tension and check for an even seal without the frame pressing on your face. Adjust the snorkel keeper so the mouthpiece rests comfortably without a strong bite. Our Hallam team can help compare shapes if you are unsure.
A snorkel only supplies air while its opening is above water. Practise breathing and clearing water in calm, shallow conditions. A splash guard or purge valve does not supply air underwater.
Care and storage
Rinse the mask, snorkel and fins in fresh water after each swim, removing sand from the buckles, straps and snorkel top. Allow everything to dry in the shade before storage. Use a suitable anti-fog treatment as directed and avoid abrasive cleaners, toothpaste or flame treatments. Check the skirt, mouthpiece, valves and straps before each use.
