Cressi Goa watch-style scuba and freediving computer
The Goa brings Air/Nitrox, Gauge and Freediving programmes to a compact wristwatch format. A backlit display and two-button interface provide access to dive information and settings.
- Air/Nitrox programme with the Cressi RGBM algorithm.
- Gauge mode without decompression calculations.
- Freediving records for depth, time and surface intervals.
- Configurable dive alerts.
- Watch, alarm and stopwatch functions.
- Off mode for swimming or snorkelling.
- User-replaceable battery.
- Optional compatible download interface.
This is a special-order product and is not held in store. Check current availability and use the Goa-specific instructions when configuring gases and dive modes.
More About This Model
It is an elegant and polyvalent proposal, under its aspect of modern and attractive watch hides a complete dive computer and apnea that stands out for its versatility. Suitable for the diver or for technical diving and for apnea or snorkelling, but surprisingly simple for the average diver by providing information clearly and simply with just two buttons.
Anti-impact technopolymer case. This composition allows a great lightness, resistance to the blows and to the aesthetic aging. The computer case is extremely flat, with a very hydrodynamic cornerless section and its dimensions are relatively contained, with a vision of the model digits.
New high-performance, low-power processor . Allows much faster data processing, more power backlighting and sound alarms and doubles the battery life compared to previous models. CPU ARM Cortex M3 32 bit | Frequency14 MHz | Flash Memory 256 Kb | 32 Kb RAM
High-strength mineral crystal display
Thermoplastic rubber strap with stainless steel buckle
Extremely long battery life through a combination of systems: economy mode when not using the computer with automatic start and a new low-power processor. CR2450 Battery
Possibility of deactivating DIVE functions to avoid unnecessary alarms during snorkelling or swimming.
Modified RGBM Wienke 9 tissue algorithm
The customizable algorithm in 3 levels (Safety factor: SF0, SF1, SF2)
Ascent speed with graphic indicator and visual and acoustic alarms.
Acoustic, visual and screen illuminated alarms: PO2, CNS, ascent rate, DECO, DECO skipped, depth exceeded (optional)
Temperature, time, instant PO2, depth allowed and mix used visible underwater at the press of a button
Reset option via a menu. Eliminates residual nitrogen memory for use in dive centres for rental or teaching.
Provision of the current depth, depth, dive time in minutes and seconds, and temperature
Logbook of 50 dives independent of the dives carried out in “Gauge” mode
How the Features Help
- Low-light viewing: The backlight helps you read the screen in dim conditions. Familiarise yourself with its activation and timeout so you can use it without searching through menus during the dive.
- Controls: The listed button layout provides access to settings and alternative views. Practise navigation with your normal gloves and exposure equipment before diving.
- Replaceable battery: The stated user-replaceable battery can be changed using the model’s prescribed procedure. Battery type, seals, tools and data-retention steps are specific to that computer.
- Freediving records: The applicable freediving mode records breath-hold dive and surface information separately from scuba operation. Configure prompts for your training plan and follow the manual’s restrictions on changing between modes.
- Extra-flat profile (maximum height 14 mm) with a completely rounded design, very hydrodynamic and avoids possible snagging. Even the anchorage of the strap follows the profile of the box.
- Interface with connection to the dive computer simply supporting the computer and connection to the PC with a USB cable. Software is compatible with all Windows and Mac versions.
- Depth gauge calibrated in salt water for maximum accuracy in the most common use
- Calibrated depth gauge in saltwater (maximum precision)
- High power backlit display (one-touch, 5 seconds)
- Graphical oxygen indicator CNS toxicity
- RGBM algorithm + Deep Stop (optional)
- Optional Bluetooth interface
- Time display during the dive
- Maximum immersion depth
- Low battery indicator
- Average depth
- Temperature
- Depth
- Large screen UFDS (User-Friendly Display System) 38 mm in diameter vs 48 mm total box. The distribution of the information, screen contrast, proportions and size of the digits have been studied to facilitate the reading. All data are segmented with slight separation lines that facilitate reading even in a stressful or emergency situation.
Choosing and Setting Up This Model
Compare the modes, gas capability, display and mounting arrangement with the diving you are trained to do. Check exactly what this listing includes, particularly transmitters, interfaces and charging accessories. Configure the computer using its own manual and confirm gases, alerts, units and battery status before diving. A depth rating describes an instrument limit and does not establish a suitable dive depth.
Gear Care and Maintenance
After every dive, rinse gently in fresh water to remove salt, chlorine and grit. Let residue soften by soaking only as the model’s manual permits, and operate buttons during rinsing only where instructed. Do not direct a high-pressure hose or compressed air at sensor openings, and never probe them with a tool.
Use a soft cloth on the housing and screen. Use only the cleaning product and method approved in this model’s manual; avoid solvents, abrasives, bleach and strong detergents. Let the instrument and strap air dry fully in the shade before packing or charging.
Inspect the strap, attachment points, display and seals before use. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heaters and hot cars, with the screen protected from loose equipment. Follow the manufacturer’s battery-storage and servicing instructions.
Change batteries only using the specified cell, correct replacement seals and the manual’s procedure. Work on a clean, dry instrument, inspect sealing surfaces and follow any required pressure or leak test before diving. A compatible battery kit does not authorise opening a model that is not user-serviceable.
