Enjoy the open chest area of a wing-style BCD with the convenience of integrated weight pockets. The Aquawing Plus combines a single-cylinder donut wing, aluminium backplate and adjustable MAS harness, giving you a recreational setup you can fit around your body and exposure suit.

This package combines the required components listed below, with the available options allowing you to choose the final configuration.

Features and benefits

• Continuous-loop air cell. The donut shape gives gas a continuous path around the wing, helping it move from one side to the other as you adjust your position. Correct wing choice, weighting and trim remain part of the complete setup.
• MAS adjustment. The Modular Adjustment System uses a continuous webbing harness that slides through its adjustment points. This lets you adjust shoulder and waist fit together around your body and exposure suit.
• Accessible weight handling. The integrated weight arrangement keeps removable ballast in dedicated pockets, reducing reliance on a separate weight belt. Check the retention mechanism and keep its release accessible.
• Alloy backplate support. The aluminium backplate forms a rigid foundation for the harness and cylinder fittings without the mass of a comparable steel plate, making it useful when packing a modular system for travel.
• Dedicated SMB storage. A purpose-made SMB pocket gives the marker a defined storage position, so it can be carried neatly without taking up other attachment points.
• Equipment attachment. D-ring layout: 4 pre-bent stainless steel. The attachment points give clipped accessories a consistent, reachable position and help prevent loose gear from trailing below you.
• Durable construction. Construction uses 1500D Cordura. The fabric protects the buoyancy structure from everyday contact with equipment; rinse it after use and inspect high-wear areas regularly.
• Trim-weight positioning. The trim pockets let you place part of your ballast near the cylinder to help adjust your position in the water. Keep the distinction between trim ballast and the system’s ditchable weights clear.
• Air-Net contact padding. Mesh padding cushions the harness contact areas and lets rinse water drain, supporting comfort during use and drying afterwards.

Fit and configuration

Unisex, one-size MAS harness with a stated XS–XL adjustment range. Adjust it with your usual exposure suit and check that the harness sits securely around your shoulders and waist. Choose enough lift for your complete cylinder and equipment configuration. Lift capacity, ballast-pocket capacity and the BCD’s dry weight describe different things; use the size-specific values in Technical Specs when comparing options.

Regulator components

• Cressi T10 SC PVD Master Regulator. The sealed first stage has a protective PVD coating, while the Master second stage provides separate inhalation-effort and Venturi controls. The supplied Compact octopus sets a warm-water limit for this package; confirm an approved complete combination before planning cold-water use.
• Cressi XS Octopus Compact. The compact alternate second stage has yellow detailing for easy identification and a large purge that is easy to locate. Route its hose so your buddy can reach it without stretching or pulling on the first stage.

Care, rinsing and storage

After every dive, rinse the BCD, harness, buckles and accessible fittings with fresh water, paying attention to salt and sand around the inflator, dump valves and weight-pocket releases. Follow the Cressi manual’s procedure for the fitted inflation system, including keeping the power inflator pressurised where specified.

Dive Gear Australia recommends Gear Aid Revivex BC Cleaner 10 oz for cleaning the outer surfaces and internal air cell. It helps remove salt, chlorine and residue while conditioning suitable rubber and plastic parts. Use the dilution on the cleaner’s label and follow the equipment manual.

Rinse the air cell internally through the opening specified in the manual, using fresh water and the recommended cleaner dilution when needed. Gently rotate the equipment to reach the inside surfaces, drain through the specified outlet, then rinse until the water runs clear. Drain thoroughly before drying.

Allow the BCD to dry in the shade, then store it slightly inflated in a cool, dry place without tight folds or heavy gear on top. Before diving, check that it holds air and that inflation controls, dump valves, straps and weight releases work correctly. Follow the manufacturer’s service schedule and have leaks, sticking controls or damage checked by an authorised technician.

Care for each regulator and other package component according to its own manual. Wash an assembled scuba regulator while connected to a secured cylinder and pressurised; keep pressure on until it is out of the water and its first-stage connection is dry.
