How to measure your BCD
- Waist: measure at the waistline shown in the diagram, rather than using the size on your jeans. Keep the tape level.
- Over the shoulder (OTS): run the tape from your waistline at the back, over one shoulder, to your waistline at the front.
- Check the BCD over the exposure suit and layers you will dive in. Adjust the shoulder and waist straps, then check that you can breathe and move comfortably with the BCD inflated.
- Use the chart for the exact BCD model. Height and weight are guides; waist and harness fit also matter.

Aqualung Pro HD Women’s BCD
The Pro HD brings the essentials of a recreational jacket BCD into one practical setup. Integrated weights, accessible utility pockets and an adjustable waistband make it easy to organise your kit, while the ResisteK fabric is chosen for repeated use in diving environments.
Features and benefits
- Harness support. Adjustable waistband; shorter torso and curved shoulder straps. Adjust the system with the exposure suit you normally dive in.
- Accessible weight handling. The SureLock II system keeps removable ballast within reach for loading and release.
- Useful storage. Storage includes utility pockets with two-way zips. Keep accessories together in the available pockets.
- Durable construction. Construction uses resisteK fabric for protection against wear during diving and handling.
- Trim-weight positioning. Rear pockets let you position part of your ballast closer to the cylinder.
- Curved shoulder straps. The shoulder shape and shorter torso are intended to suit a women’s fit.
- Two-way pocket zips. Open the utility pockets from either direction when accessing stored accessories.
- Rear trim pockets. The cylinder-band pockets allow some ballast to be positioned behind the main weight system.
Fit and configuration
Women’s fit. Choose the appropriate size for your torso and check it while wearing your normal exposure suit. Fit details: Shorter torso and curved shoulder straps; adjustable waistband. Match lift and ballast capacity to the selected size and complete cylinder setup; these are separate from the BCD’s own dry weight.
