Built for Advanced Technical Diving
The Petrel 3 includes dedicated OC Tec mode for multi-gas trimix decompression diving and CC/BO mode for closed-circuit diving using fixed PPO2 setpoints, with fast access to open-circuit bailout when required.
Its standard Bühlmann ZHL-16C decompression model with Gradient Factors gives technical divers extensive control over their decompression strategy, while optional VPM-B and DCIEM algorithms are available separately.

Wireless Air Integration
Built-in air integration allows the Petrel 3 to connect with up to four optional Shearwater transmitters.
This provides considerable flexibility for technical setups, including monitoring open-circuit gases, bailout cylinders and other compatible cylinder configurations directly from the computer.
Digital Compass
A built-in three-axis tilt-compensated digital compass provides reliable navigation and is available across all dive modes, reducing the need to carry a separate compass.
