Oceanpro Lennox Hybrid BCD Size Guide
Oceanpro manufacturer sizing for the Lennox Hybrid BCD, with or without the Altair upgrade. Check the fit over your usual exposure suit. The harness should hold the cylinder securely while allowing comfortable breathing and movement.
How to measure
- Height: measure barefoot from floor to the top of your head.
- Weight: use body weight in kilograms.
- Chest: measure around the fullest part with the tape level.
- Waist: measure around the waist without pulling the tape tight.

Oceanpro Lennox Hybrid BCD with Altair
The Oceanpro Lennox Hybrid combines rear and side inflation with integrated weight pockets and practical storage. It is a versatile choice for divers who want the freedom of a rear-inflation design with support around the sides at the surface.
Storage and a secure fit
- Hybrid air cell: combines rear and side lift.
- Integrated weight pockets: keep ballast within the BCD’s weight system.
- Large side pockets: provide room for suitable dive accessories.
- Tank trim pockets: offer another position for distributing ballast.
- Rubberised tank grippers: help support a secure cylinder fit.
- Stainless steel D-rings and shoulder daisy chains: provide attachment points for accessories.
- Oceanpro BCD knife mounts: accept a compatible knife, sold separately.
Altair included
The factory-fitted Altair combines the BCD inflator and an alternate second stage in one unit. Its downstream demand valve has Venturi assistance, with accessible inflation controls and a bottom-mounted soft-touch purge. This configuration reduces the need for a separate traditional octopus hose.
Use an air-sharing procedure appropriate to an integrated alternate air source and practise it with your instructor and buddy. Have a qualified technician check the complete regulator configuration before use.
Choosing your size
Use the BCD Size Guide for height, weight, chest and waist measurements, then check the harness over your usual exposure suit. The BCD should hold your cylinder securely without restricting breathing or movement. Fit, lift capacity and weight-pocket capacity are separate considerations; our Hallam team can help you choose for your complete equipment configuration.
Oceanpro publishes lift capacities of 34 lb (approximately 15.4 kg) for XS–M and 46 lb (approximately 20.9 kg) for L–XL. Confirm XXS lift capacity with our team before choosing it for a particular equipment configuration.

What is included
One Oceanpro Lennox Hybrid BCD with Altair in the selected size, with the Altair assembly and size-matched LPQD hose. Cylinder, first-stage regulator, dive weights and accessories are sold separately. Detail and rear photographs show the same included components and BCD body; they do not represent additional items.

Care, rinsing and storage
After every dive, rinse the BCD, harness, buckles and accessible fittings with fresh water. Follow Oceanpro’s instructions for the fitted inflation system, including keeping the power inflator or Altair pressurised where specified.
For routine cleaning, Gear Aid Revivex BC Cleaner can help remove salt and residue. Use the label dilution and the BCD manual’s internal rinsing procedure. Drain thoroughly, dry in the shade and store slightly inflated without tight folds or heavy equipment on top.
Before diving, check that the BCD holds air and that the inflator, dump valves, straps and weight releases operate correctly. Follow the manufacturer’s service schedule and have leaks, damage or sticking controls checked by an authorised technician.

For change-of-mind returns and size exchanges, you pay return postage and replacement shipping. Original delivery charges are not refunded.
