Mask features

The Cressi ZS1 Small is a low-volume frameless mask with one tempered-glass window. Its smaller profile is worth trying when standard adult masks feel too broad or bulky.

• Silicone skirt bonds directly to the lens, avoiding a separate rigid frame.
• Single tempered-glass lens provides an open view between the eyes.
• Skirt-mounted ratcheting buckles allow fine strap adjustment.
• Accessible nose pocket supports equalisation when used with appropriate diving skills.

Snorkel features

• Flexible tube: The tube can move when it contacts your equipment, keeping the setup less rigid around your head.
• Soft silicone mouthpiece: The shaped bite gives your teeth and lips a comfortable contact point. Adjust the keeper to avoid pulling on it.
• Figure-eight keeper: One loop fits the tube and the other holds your mask strap, providing a straightforward attachment with few parts.
• Open-top design: There is no closing dry valve. The simple tube is easy to flush with fresh water after a day in salt water.

Mask size and fit guidance

Choose the actual lens and colour version from the available options. Fit depends on face width and shape, not age or a small/regular label alone.

Face width, shape and nose-pocket comfort determine mask fit. A small, medium, large or youth label is a starting guide only. Keep hair clear of the skirt and use light strap tension; do not overtighten a mask to compensate for a poor fit.

Snorkel fit and use

Check mouthpiece comfort with your own mask in place. Slide the keeper to set the height and practise surface clearing. This is the Corsica Free model; its keeper and construction differ from the standard Corsica.

Use the snorkel for breathing at the surface with its opening above the water. Clear any water before taking your next breath; a snorkel does not supply air while submerged.

Buying for someone else

If this is a gift, ask about the wearer’s current mask fit and allow time to check the seal and mouthpiece comfort before the first trip. Mask size and mouthpiece comfort need separate checks. Our Hallam team can help compare suitable shapes.

Care and storage

Compatible cleaning products

For standard uncoated mask glass, TUSA TEC52 anti-fog treatment is an option when permitted by the mask and treatment instructions. For a separate neoprene strap cover, if you use one, we recommend Cressi Neoclean Wetsuit Wash or Revivex Wetsuit Shampoo to clean compatible neoprene. Wash that component separately according to its care label and the cleaner’s dilution instructions, then rinse thoroughly and dry in the shade. These neoprene cleaners are not a recommendation for the mask lens or a regulator assembly.

Rinse in fresh water after use, including the buckles, then let the mask dry in the shade.Store it in a protective case without crushing the skirt. Follow the supplied instructions for lens preparation and anti-fog treatment, especially for coated lenses. Avoid abrasive cleaners, toothpaste and flame treatment.

Flush the snorkel, mouthpiece and any valves with fresh water after use. Remove trapped sand and let the equipment dry in the shade before storage.
