Mask features

The Aqualung Linea is a compact single-lens mask developed with input from female divers. It brings the lens close to the face and pairs a textured silicone skirt with a buckle arrangement designed to reduce hair catching during adjustment.

Snorkel features

• Semi-dry splash guard: The upper guard helps deflect incoming spray. Water can still enter when the top goes below the surface.

• Two-material flex section: Rigid and flexible sections work together to let the lower tube move while supporting its shape.

Mask size and fit guidance

Although designed with women divers in mind, suitability depends on the wearer’s face shape. Check the seal, brow clearance and nose comfort rather than choosing by gender alone.

Face width, shape and nose-pocket comfort determine mask fit. A small, medium, large or youth label is a starting guide only. Keep hair clear of the skirt and use light strap tension; do not overtighten a mask to compensate for a poor fit.

Snorkel fit and use

Try the palate bridge with your own bite before deciding on fit. Adjust the mask retainer and lower joint so the mouthpiece is not under tension. A soft mouthpiece still needs to suit your mouth shape.

Use the snorkel for breathing at the surface with its opening above the water. Clear any water before taking your next breath; a snorkel does not supply air while submerged.

Buying for someone else

If this is a gift, ask about the wearer’s current mask fit and allow time to check the seal and mouthpiece comfort before the first trip. Mask size and mouthpiece comfort need separate checks. Our Hallam team can help compare suitable shapes.

Care and storage

Rinse in fresh water after use, including the buckles, then let the mask dry in the shade. Store it in a protective case without crushing the skirt. Follow the supplied instructions for lens preparation and anti-fog treatment, especially for coated lenses. Avoid abrasive cleaners, toothpaste and flame treatment.

Flush the snorkel, mouthpiece and any valves with fresh water after use. Remove trapped sand and let the equipment dry in the shade before storage.
