Cressi T10 SC PVD Master Regulator
The Cressi T10-SC PVD Master brings a protective PVD finish to a sealed diaphragm regulator system for cold-water diving. Its adjustable Master second stage gives you separate inhalation-effort and Venturi controls, with an internal heat exchanger and a broad elliptical diaphragm.
Features and benefits
- Dry environmental chamber. A sealed chamber keeps the first-stage spring mechanism away from surrounding water and suspended particles. This helps limit contamination and supports the regulator’s cold-water performance.
- PVD-coated first stage. The hard surface coating adds corrosion and wear resistance to the first-stage body. It complements regular fresh-water rinsing and careful storage.
- Separate inhalation adjustment. The breathing-effort knob changes the initial effort needed to open the second-stage valve. It gives you a separate adjustment from the Venturi control, so you can fine-tune the breathing feel within the regulator’s operating range.
- Dive/pre-dive control. The Venturi lever changes how the air stream assists inhalation. Use the pre-dive position during surface handling and while an alternate second stage is stowed, then the dive position when breathing from it, following the manual.
- Elliptical diaphragm. The broad diaphragm provides a larger working surface without making the second stage unnecessarily tall. Together with the low-friction lever, it helps the valve respond to inhalation.
- Internal heat exchanger. Heat transfer around the valve helps counter the cooling caused by expanding gas, supporting operation in cold water. Correct cold-water equipment selection and procedures still matter.
Setup and compatibility
Choose the DIN or yoke option to match your cylinder valve and pressure rating. Have the complete regulator assembly configured and checked by a qualified technician. The maximum usable pressure is limited by the lowest-rated component in the system.
Cold-water use requires the correct first stage, second stages and accessories, together with appropriate training and operating procedures. Follow the limits in the regulator manual.
Care, rinsing and storage
Rinse with fresh water after each dive, protecting the first-stage inlet with its clean, dry dust cap when disconnected. Do not press the purge while rinsing an unpressurised regulator. Let the equipment dry out of direct sunlight, then store it with the hoses loosely curved and free from tension.
Check the mouthpiece, hose condition and connections before use. Arrange servicing with an authorised Cressi technician at the interval in the manual, and sooner after damage, a leak or a change in breathing performance. Internal adjustments and first-stage pressure setting are service work.
