How to measure
- Ask someone to help. Stand upright, look forward and keep your feet flat on the floor. Use a soft tape held close to the body without pulling it tight.
- Height: measure barefoot from the floor to the top of your head.
- Chest or bust: measure around the fullest part, keeping the tape level.
- Waist: measure around your natural waist between your ribs and hips.
- Hips: measure around the widest part with your feet together.
- Inseam: measure from crotch to floor.
- Use every measurement shown in the size table. If your measurements span sizes, contact Dive Gear Australia for help with that model.
A wetsuit should fit closely while allowing comfortable breathing and movement. Check the sizes offered on the product before ordering.

Fit and Use
Choose a close fit that allows comfortable head movement. Check the face opening with your mask skirt and, where applicable, the neck or bib with your suit collar. For a hooded vest, check the extra layer inside the wetsuit so the combined fit does not restrict breathing or shoulder movement.

This hooded vest adds an insulating layer around the torso and head when paired with a suitable wetsuit. Its OMNIRED inner fabric and close-fitting seals support warmth without changing the need to select exposure protection for the conditions.

More About This Model
The Bare 5/3mm ULTRAWARMTH Hooded Vest Women’s is designed to keep you warm throughout your core and head with high-loft Ultrawarmth OMNIRED Infrared Thermal technology embedded in the inner fabric. GEN2 hood vent allows trapped air to escape and helps reduce water from entering, while the skin-in face seal—and neck seal that mates with the wetsuit collar— helps reduce water flushing. OMNIRED is scientifically proven and FDA-determined to conserve body heat and accelerate thermal recovery.
Double-glued and blindstitched with SECURE LOCK construction improves isolation and reduces flushing for warmer, longer dives.
Gear Care and Washing
Rinse inside and out in cool fresh water after every use to remove salt, chlorine, sand and residue. Gently hand wash when needed with a material-compatible wetsuit cleaner at its specified dilution, following the garment label, then rinse thoroughly.
Keep any vent openings clear and settle face and neck seals gently when dressing. Dry the lining and inside of the hood fully before storage.
Allow both sides to dry completely in the shade with good airflow. Store clean and dry away from direct sunlight, heaters and hot cars. Avoid crushing the neoprene or leaving it folded sharply for long periods.
Protect smooth seals and coatings from fingernails, jewellery and scrubbing. Rinse any zip or fastener free of grit, and use only the maker’s approved lubricant where required. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, iron, bleach or use solvents.

For change-of-mind returns and size exchanges, you pay return postage and replacement shipping. Original delivery charges are not refunded. Water-tested goods, clearly marked clearance items and genuinely custom-made or personalised items are excluded from change-of-mind returns. Ordinary discounted goods remain eligible.
