How to measure
- Ask someone to help. Stand upright, look forward and keep your feet flat on the floor. Use a soft tape held close to the body without pulling it tight.
- Height, head and neck: use the measuring points in Waterproof’s diagram.
- Chest or bust: measure around the fullest part, keeping the tape level.
- Waist: measure around your natural waist between your ribs and hips.
- Hips: measure around the widest part with your feet together.
- Neck to crotch: follow the body from the prominent bone at the back/base of your neck to the centre of the crotch.
- Neck to wrist: measure from the same neck point, over the shoulder and along the arm to the wrist.
- Inside leg: measure crotch to ankle for a wetsuit; crotch to floor for a drysuit. Use the matching row in the table.
All body measurements are in centimetres. Select the correct standard, tall or plus fit. For a drysuit, allow room for your usual undergarments; ask us if you are between sizes.

Follow the numbered diagram: 2 head circumference; 3 neck; 4 chest; 5 waist; 6 widest hip circumference. Measure 7 from the prominent bone at the base of the back of your neck (C7) to the centre of the crotch, following the diagram; measure 8 from the same neck point across the shoulder to the wrist with your arm out. For 9a, measure crotch to floor for a drysuit; for 9b, measure crotch to ankle for a wetsuit. Use the matching row for your suit type and take measurements in centimetres.

The Waterproof W20 2.5mm women’s wetsuit gives you full-length coverage in flexible Aquatex neoprene. Its light 2.5mm construction is aimed at warm-water scuba diving and snorkelling, where comfortable movement and coverage are the priorities.
Features and benefits
- Aquatex neoprene: the stretchy 2.5mm material moves with you and helps the suit sit close to the body. A well-matched fit reduces gaps where water can circulate.
- Shaped fit: anatomically cut panels and pre-bent legs make the suit easier to move in. Separate men’s and women’s patterns let you choose the appropriate cut.
- Easy entry: the YKK #10 Vislon back zip opens the suit for dressing, and lower-leg zips help your feet pass through without excessive pulling.
- Draining hip pocket: the flexible integrated pocket provides accessible storage for a compact mask or SMB, with valves that let water drain out.
- ToughTex knees: abrasion-resistant knee panels help protect a commonly worn area during equipment handling and training.
- Grip and reinforcement: polyurethane print at the shoulders and seat helps resist wear and slipping. Sleeve print adds grip beneath your computer strap.
- Comfortable finishing: flatlock seams create a low-profile join, while the moulded neck tab adjusts the collar. Flatlock construction allows water exchange and is intended for wetsuit use.

Fit and use
Use the Waterproof size chart and your measurements to choose a close fit with comfortable breathing and movement. Check the neck, wrists and ankles for gaps. Water temperature, dive length, depth and your own cold tolerance all affect the insulation you need.

Gear Care and Washing
After every use, rinse the suit inside and out in cool fresh water to remove salt, chlorine, sand and other residue. Gently hand wash when needed using mild soap or a cleaner specifically authorised by Waterproof. Rinse thoroughly after washing.
Let both sides dry completely in the shade with good airflow. Support the suit on a broad wetsuit hanger, or drape it over a wide support to avoid stretching the shoulders. Store clean and dry in a cool place away from direct sunlight, heaters, hot cars and sharp folds.
Rinse sand and salt from the zip and close hook-and-loop tabs so they cannot snag the fabric. Never force a jammed zip. Use only the zip maker’s specified lubricant and storage position; ordinary wax or silicone is not suitable for every specialist zip.
Do not machine wash, tumble dry, iron, bleach or use solvents. Follow the supplied care instructions for this suit and its zip before using any cleaning or maintenance product.
