Atomic Aquatics T3 Titanium Scuba Diving Regulator
The T3 brings titanium construction to a compact premium regulator setup. Its balanced first stage and automatic flow control handle the delivery of gas, while the Comfort Swivel helps the hose move with you rather than pulling at the second stage.
Built for travel and frequent diving
Titanium’s corrosion resistance and low weight make the T3 particularly appealing when you travel with your own regulator. The balanced mechanism, automatic flow control and swivel connection address different parts of the experience: gas delivery, adjustment as depth changes, and freedom of movement at the mouth.
Features and benefits
- Titanium construction. The first stage is machined from titanium alloy, with titanium second-stage components to reduce weight and resist seawater corrosion. This makes the T3 particularly useful when packing for dive travel.
- Balanced Jet Seat piston. The balanced high-flow piston regulates the second-stage supply as cylinder pressure changes, supporting a consistent breathing response.
- Factory environmental seal. The sealed first stage helps keep silt and sand away from the mechanism and provides freeze protection for its intended diving conditions.
- Balanced second stage. Pneumatic balancing reduces the force needed to open the demand valve, helping the second stage respond smoothly as you inhale.
- Automatic Flow Control. AFC changes the Venturi assistance as depth changes, reducing the need for manual flow adjustment. The Rapid Adjustment Knob provides additional control for handling and specific diving situations.
- Rotating hose turret. The low-pressure turret turns to follow hose direction, making it easier to arrange hoses without tight bends around the first stage.
- Titanium Comfort Swivel. The PVD-coated titanium swivel lets the hose move with your head while keeping weight low at the second-stage connection.
- Seat-saving design. When the regulator is depressurised, the dynamic orifice lifts away from the low-pressure seat. This reduces prolonged loading on the seat during storage.
- Low-friction piston seal. The self-lubricating high-pressure seal helps the piston move smoothly during operation.
- Padded travel bag. The supplied bag protects the regulator during transport and keeps the assembly together in your dive luggage.
Setup and compatibility
Connection: DIN, Yoke. Choose the fitting that matches your cylinder valve and its pressure rating.
Care, rinsing and storage
After each dive, connect the assembled regulator to a scuba cylinder and open the valve to pressurise the system. Keep it pressurised while fully submerging the first stage, second stages and connected hoses in fresh water. This allows thorough cleaning of the exposed components and hoses while helping prevent water entering the internal air passages, where it can cause corrosion and damage. Keep the cylinder secure throughout cleaning.
For routine cleaning, Dive Gear Australia recommends Cressi Neoclean Wetsuit Wash Neoprene Cleaner 500 mL or Revivex Wetsuit Shampoo 10 oz to help remove salt, chlorine and everyday residue. Dilute according to the cleaner’s label, then rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
Keep the regulator pressurised throughout washing and rinsing. Lift it out of the water and dry the first stage and cylinder connection before closing the cylinder valve, releasing the pressure and disconnecting. Fit the clean, dry dust cap, then allow the regulator to dry in the shade. Store it with the hoses loosely curved, without sharp bends or tension.
Before each dive, inspect the mouthpiece, hoses and connections for wear or damage. Have your regulator serviced by an authorised Atomic Aquatics technician at the interval specified in its manual, or sooner if it leaks, is damaged or its breathing performance changes. Leave internal adjustments and repairs to a qualified technician.
