The Apollo SV Dry Flex Silicone Snorkel is a semi-dry model with a splash guard, an oval tube and a flexible lower section. It is a useful choice for surface snorkelling or scuba divers who want the mouthpiece to drop aside when they use their regulator.
Features and benefits
- Semi-dry splash guard: The shaped top helps deflect spray and splashes. It stays open rather than sealing with a float valve.
- Oval tube and silicone flex section: The streamlined upper tube joins a flexible lower section, allowing the mouthpiece to move without pulling the entire snorkel.
- Large collection chamber: Water gathers below the mouthpiece and can be cleared through the one-way purge valve.

Fit and use
Adjust the keeper so the mouthpiece rests comfortably without tension in the lower tube. Despite “Dry” in the model name, this snorkel uses a semi-dry splash guard: the top can admit water when submerged.
Use the snorkel for breathing at the surface with its opening above the water. Clear any water before taking your next breath; a snorkel does not supply air while submerged.

Care and storage
Flush the tube and mouthpiece with fresh water after use, including the splash guard and lower purge valve. Let it air-dry in the shade and store it away from heat and direct sunlight. Check the mouthpiece, keeper and valve for wear or trapped sand before each swim.
