Waterproof W8 7mm Wetsuit Men’s – Front Zip – NEOFLEX

The Waterproof W8 7mm men’s wetsuit combines flexible Neoflex neoprene with a front zip and carefully designed seals for scuba divers who want insulation without a restrictive feel. The men’s cut uses shaped arms and legs, while the 7mm construction and soft EXTEND thermal lining provide a substantial layer of warmth.

Features and benefits

• Neoflex stretch neoprene: the microcell limestone CR neoprene and four-way stretch allow the suit to follow your movements. Pre-bent limbs and Wave Flex panels at the elbow and knee bends help when reaching equipment and finning.
• Front entry and WaterDam: the zip opening sits to the side of the neck for comfort. The WaterDam neck arrangement helps interrupt water running down the neck and spine when you turn your head; it does not make the suit a drysuit.
• Reduced water exchange: wide double seal panels behind the main zip slow flushing through the opening. Glued and blind-stitched seams join the panels without stitching fully through the neoprene.
• Double wrist and ankle seals: smooth Glideskin inner cuffs help restrict water movement. The outer zipped cuffs open for dressing and close around your gloves and boots.
• Thermal lining: the stretchy EXTEND interior adds a soft insulating layer against the body while allowing the suit to flex.
• Two draining hip pockets: flexible integrated storage carries items such as a spare mask or SMB. Internal loops provide attachment points and drain valves release retained water.
• Reinforced contact areas: aramid (Kevlar) and Duratex knee panels resist abrasion while remaining flexible. Duratex at the seat and elbows protects other areas exposed to repeated wear.
• Equipment stays better positioned: computer strap anchors and anti-slip surfaces on both sleeves help secure wrist instruments. Polyurethane grip areas at the shoulders and waist help stabilise BCD straps and a weight belt.
• Practical zip controls: YKK Vislon zips and EasyGrip pullers are easier to handle with gloves. A moulded collar tab adjusts the neck opening.
• Contoured spine padding: a 10–12mm pad adds cushioning and insulation over the spine and kidney area.

Choosing your setup

Choose this front-entry design if access to the main zip matters to you. The W8 is a wetsuit with water-reducing seals; it is not fitted with a drysuit-style main zip.

Fit and use

Use the Waterproof size chart and your measurements to choose a close fit with comfortable breathing and movement. Check the neck, wrists and ankles for gaps. Water temperature, dive length, depth and your own cold tolerance all affect the insulation you need.

Care

Rinse with fresh water after use, clearing salt and sand from the zips. Dry in the shade and store on a broad wetsuit hanger, away from heat and direct sunlight. Avoid prolonged folding and follow the garment label and Waterproof care instructions.
