How to measure
- Ask someone to help. Stand upright, look forward and keep your feet flat on the floor. Use a soft tape held close to the body without pulling it tight.
- Height, head and neck: use the measuring points in Waterproof’s diagram.
- Chest or bust: measure around the fullest part, keeping the tape level.
- Waist: measure around your natural waist between your ribs and hips.
- Hips: measure around the widest part with your feet together.
- Neck to crotch: follow the body from the prominent bone at the back/base of your neck to the centre of the crotch.
- Neck to wrist: measure from the same neck point, over the shoulder and along the arm to the wrist.
- Inside leg: measure crotch to ankle for a wetsuit; crotch to floor for a drysuit. Use the matching row in the table.
All body measurements are in centimetres. Select the correct standard, tall or plus fit. For a drysuit, allow room for your usual undergarments; ask us if you are between sizes.

Follow the numbered diagram: 2 head circumference; 3 neck; 4 chest; 5 waist; 6 widest hip circumference. Measure 7 from the prominent bone at the base of the back of your neck (C7) to the centre of the crotch, following the diagram; measure 8 from the same neck point across the shoulder to the wrist with your arm out. For 9a, measure crotch to floor for a drysuit; for 9b, measure crotch to ankle for a wetsuit. Use the matching row for your suit type and take measurements in centimetres.

The Waterproof W30 2.5mm women’s shorty wetsuit is a light layer for warm-water scuba diving, snorkelling and active watersports. With short sleeves and legs, it combines stretch neoprene and a straightforward back zip for comfortable time in the water.
Features and benefits
- 2.5mm neoprene: light insulation for warm-water use, with stretch that helps you swim and move comfortably. Choose thickness for your own conditions and dive duration.
- Back-zip entry: the YKK zip with a stainless-steel slider makes the suit easier to step into and remove.
- Low-profile flatlock seams: the panels are joined with bonded nylon thread to create comfortable seams against the skin. This is a wet suit, so the seams are not intended to keep water out.
- Shaped fit: the women’s pattern follows the body for a comfortable fit without unnecessary loose material.
- Reinforced contact areas: polyurethane print at the shoulders and seat helps resist abrasion and adds grip beneath your equipment.
- Arm grip and adjustable collar: anti-slip arm print helps keep a wrist computer in position. The moulded hook-and-loop collar tab adjusts the neck opening.

Fit and use
Use the Waterproof size chart and your measurements to choose a close fit with comfortable breathing and movement. Check the neck, wrists and ankles for gaps. Water temperature, dive length, depth and your own cold tolerance all affect the insulation you need.
More About This Model
The Waterproof W30 2.5mm Shorty Wetsuit Women’s is a spin-off from the W30 Fullsuit. The same type of stretchy material and with flatlock seams to achieve as little restrictions as possible to enhance the moveability for the active watersport user.

Gear Care and Washing
After every use, rinse the suit inside and out in cool fresh water to remove salt, chlorine, sand and other residue. Gently hand wash when needed using mild soap or a cleaner specifically authorised by Waterproof. Rinse thoroughly after washing.
Let both sides dry completely in the shade with good airflow. Support the suit on a broad wetsuit hanger, or drape it over a wide support to avoid stretching the shoulders. Store clean and dry in a cool place away from direct sunlight, heaters, hot cars and sharp folds.
Rinse sand and salt from the zip and close hook-and-loop tabs so they cannot snag the fabric. Never force a jammed zip. Use only the zip maker’s specified lubricant and storage position; ordinary wax or silicone is not suitable for every specialist zip.
Do not machine wash, tumble dry, iron, bleach or use solvents. Follow the supplied care instructions for this suit and its zip before using any cleaning or maintenance product.
