How to measure
- Ask someone to help. Stand upright, look forward and keep your feet flat on the floor. Use a soft tape held close to the body without pulling it tight.
- Height, head and neck: use the measuring points in Waterproof’s diagram.
- Chest or bust: measure around the fullest part, keeping the tape level.
- Waist: measure around your natural waist between your ribs and hips.
- Hips: measure around the widest part with your feet together.
- Neck to crotch: follow the body from the prominent bone at the back/base of your neck to the centre of the crotch.
- Neck to wrist: measure from the same neck point, over the shoulder and along the arm to the wrist.
- Inside leg: measure crotch to ankle for a wetsuit; crotch to floor for a drysuit. Use the matching row in the table.
All body measurements are in centimetres. Select the correct standard, tall or plus fit. For a drysuit, allow room for your usual undergarments; ask us if you are between sizes.

Follow the numbered diagram: 2 head circumference; 3 neck; 4 chest; 5 waist; 6 widest hip circumference. Measure 7 from the prominent bone at the base of the back of your neck (C7) to the centre of the crotch, following the diagram; measure 8 from the same neck point across the shoulder to the wrist with your arm out. For 9a, measure crotch to floor for a drysuit; for 9b, measure crotch to ankle for a wetsuit. Use the matching row for your suit type and take measurements in centimetres.

Add core and head insulation to your existing wetsuit with the Waterproof O1 Neoflex men’s hooded overvest. Its 5mm body and fixed 7mm hood provide extra coverage for cooler dives, while the flexible front-zip design makes it easier to layer over your main suit.
Features and benefits
- 5mm Neoflex body: four-way stretch microcell limestone CR neoprene lets the overvest follow the suit beneath it. Glued and blind-stitched seams help reduce water exchange.
- Fixed 7mm hood: double-layer protection in key areas adds warmth around the head. The Glideskin face seal sits smoothly against the skin and should be checked with your mask.
- HAVS venting: the Hood Air Venting System uses one-way valves to let trapped air escape, reducing the air pocket that can collect at the top of a hood.
- Inverted front zip: the YKK #10 Vislon zip finishes at the chest, leaving the face seal clear of the zip and giving your head more comfortable movement. The EasyGrip puller helps operation with gloves.
- EXTEND thermal lining: a soft, stretchy inner layer adds comfort when worn over the wetsuit.
- Detachable beavertail: double hook-and-loop fasteners help keep the vest from riding up. Remove the tail when the setup calls for it.
- Equipment grip: polyurethane surfaces at the shoulders and waist help keep BCD straps and a weight belt in position.

Fit and use
Fit the O1 over the wetsuit you will actually use. Check shoulder movement, the neck and mask seal, and BCD and weight-belt adjustment with both layers in place. Added neoprene changes the buoyancy of your setup.
Care
Rinse with fresh water after use, clearing salt and sand from the zips. Dry in the shade and store on a broad wetsuit hanger, away from heat and direct sunlight. Avoid prolonged folding and follow the garment label and Waterproof care instructions.
