Shearwater Swift GPS Transmitter
The Swift GPS combines wireless cylinder-pressure transmission with surface position capture for compatible Shearwater computers. It records dive entry and exit coordinates for the Dive Shearwater log, while its collision-avoidance protocol helps multiple transmitters share the signal environment.
Receive real time gas pressure data and benefit from accurate gas time remaining calculations to support your existing gas plan. Easily view all dive metrics in your computer display, grouping important information on the dive display.
LOCK IN YOUR LOCATION
The Swift GPS uses a multi-constellation Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver that determines location from GPS, Galileo and BeiDou satellites. The location information can be shared with your buddy or a boat full of divers. Any Shearwater air-integrated computer within range can pick up the Swift GPS signal.*

The Swift connects to Shearwater dive computers to provide air integration capability.
Works with all current Shearwater air integrated dive computers are compatible with Swift GPS. This includes the Perdix AI, Perdix 2, Petrel 3, NERD 2, Teric, Tern TX, and Peregrine TX.
AI stands for Air Integration. This refers to a system that uses wireless transmitters to measure the gas pressure in a scuba tank and transmit this information to the dive computer for display and logging. Data is transmitted using low frequency (38kHz) radio communications. A receiver in the dive computer accepts this data and formats it for display. The communication is from the transmitter to the computer without requiring a response. Two (or more) dive computers may be programmed to receive the same transmitter(s).
Although the feature is named “Air” Integration, other gas mixtures can be used with the system as well. When using gas mixtures with oxygen content above 22%, be sure to have proper training on such mixtures, and follow proper cleaning and material compatibility guidelines. Swift transmitters are built with O2 compatible materials.
How the Features Help
- Wireless pressure data: The transmitter measures cylinder pressure and sends it to a compatible computer, keeping the information close to the rest of your dive display. Correct pairing, gas assignment and installation are part of the setup.
- Multiple-transmitter operation: The collision-avoidance arrangement varies transmission timing to reduce overlapping signals when several transmitters are in use. Confirm reception and the correct cylinder assignment before diving.
- Lithium
Compatibility and Use
Match the exact instrument model, generation, part number and attachment arrangement before ordering. Listed compatibility applies to the identified accessory, not every product from the same brand. Check the supplied items and follow the instrument’s installation or service procedure.
Gear Care and Maintenance
Rinse the exterior gently with fresh water after diving and dry completely before storage. Protect the housing and first-stage connection from impacts; do not lift or carry a cylinder by the transmitter.
Have installation completed with the fitting, flow restrictor and gas-compatible seals specified for the exact transmitter. Depressurise the system completely before removing the transmitter or opening a user-serviceable battery compartment.
Use only the battery, seals, tools and lubricant permitted by the model manual. Keep oxygen-clean equipment free from incompatible oils and grease. After service, check for leaks, confirm pairing and verify the correct gas assignment and pressure reading before diving.
