The Mares Sea Pals Kids Snorkelling Set packs a mask, dry-top snorkel and adjustable fins into a sea-animal backpack. Choose a Turtle, Octopus or Puffer Fish design from the available options for a child’s beach holiday, birthday present or Christmas gift.

These age ranges are a guide only; individual fit varies. Choose the fins by foot fit and check the mask and mouthpiece separately. The EU ranges above are the size labels for this Australian listing. If your child is between sizes, ask us for help with their foot length in centimetres and usual shoe size. A fin size or age range cannot guarantee that the mask will fit.
Children of the same age can have very different face shapes and foot sizes. Check the mask seal, mouthpiece comfort and fin fit separately. Keep hair clear of the mask skirt and adjust the strap without overtightening. The child should be able to hold the mouthpiece gently with their lips closed around it.
Practise fitting, surface breathing and snorkel clearing in calm, shallow water with active adult supervision. A snorkel is not a swimming aid and only supplies air when its opening is above the surface.

Buying as a gift
Ask a parent for the child’s usual shoe size before choosing the set. Allow time to check the mask seal, mouthpiece and fins together before the first trip. Snorkelling equipment needs individual fitting, even when the child falls within the rough age guide.
Care and storage
Rinse the mask, snorkel and fins in fresh water after each swim, removing sand from the buckles, straps and snorkel top. Allow everything to dry in the shade before storage. Use a suitable anti-fog treatment as directed and avoid abrasive cleaners, toothpaste or flame treatments. Check the skirt, mouthpiece, valves and straps before each use.
