Cressi SL Star 70 Pneumatic Speargun
The Cressi SL Star 70 is a 70 cm pneumatic speargun supplied with an 8 mm stainless-steel shaft with a 7 mm thread. Its shaped grip, trigger-operated line release and simple layout make it a practical choice if you prefer an air-powered gun. This SL Star version has no power reducer.
Comfortable grip and straightforward handling
The anatomical handle positions your hand high on the gun, helping you hold it in line with your forearm. The red grip stands out against the black body, making the gun easier to spot among your gear. A sturdy eyelet beneath the handle provides a point for attaching a suitable lanyard.
Stainless-steel shaft supplied
The included 8 mm shaft is stainless steel for corrosion resistance in salt water. Its threaded end accepts compatible spear tips, giving you a replaceable tip connection. Fresh-water rinsing remains important after every dive to look after the shaft and the rest of the gun.

Important safety and care information
Never fire a pneumatic speargun out of the water. Load and discharge it only while submerged, following the manufacturer’s instructions. Never fire from land or a boat, including into the water.
Water provides resistance that helps cushion the piston’s movement. Firing out of the water removes this resistance and can cause the piston to strike the muzzle assembly with excessive force, potentially cracking or shattering internal components.
Do not shoot at rocks, reef or other hard surfaces. Impact can damage the spear shaft, tip and other components, and create a dangerous risk of rebound.
Read the product manual and care instructions before use. Never point a speargun towards another person, and never carry or store it loaded outside the water.
Damage caused by incorrect use or impact is not a manufacturing defect. Warranty claims require assessment to establish the cause of the damage.
If your speargun is damaged or operating incorrectly, stop using it and contact Dive Gear Australia during business hours before returning it. We can help arrange assessment and discuss suitable replacement parts or repair options.
Care after diving
Rinse the gun, shaft, loader and shooting line with fresh water after use. Allow them to dry in the shade and store the gun unloaded, away from heat and direct sunlight. Check the line and shaft connection for wear, and follow Cressi’s instructions for pressure checks and servicing.
