Aqualung Micro-X Mask – Low Volume
The Aqualung Micro-X brings its twin lenses close to the eyes in an ultra-compact mask profile. The close lens position creates an open view without a large mask body, while the silicone skirt and rotating buckle joints help the mask settle comfortably. It is an option to try for freediving, spearfishing or scuba use if you prefer a compact fit.
Features and benefits
- Close-set twin lenses: Micromask X geometry places the lenses within the eye-orbit area.
- Low internal volume: Keeps the body close to your face.
- Silicone skirt: Provides flexible facial contact.
- Rotating buckle joints: Move vertically and horizontally to accommodate strap position.
- Opposing push-button adjustment: Allows controlled tension changes.
Size and fit
Our catalogue groups the Micro-X with small-face and high-bridge options. Check cheek contact, brow clearance and nose access carefully.
Keep hair clear of the sealing edge and hold the mask gently against your face. Check even contact at the cheeks and forehead, plus comfortable access to your nose. Use light strap tension; overtightening can distort the skirt rather than correct the wrong shape. If you wear a hood, check the fit with it in place.

Care and storage
Rinse the mask in fresh water after every outing, flushing salt and grit from the skirt, strap and buckles. Use mild liquid soap only where the mask manufacturer allows it, then rinse thoroughly. Dry in the shade and store with the lens protected and the skirt relaxed. Check the strap and sealing edge before use. Avoid abrasives, toothpaste and flame treatments.
For standard uncoated mask glass, TUSA TEC52 anti-fog treatment is an option when used according to the mask and treatment instructions. Confirm compatibility before applying any cleaner or defogger to a prescription lens, coating or anti-fog film.
For a separate neoprene strap cover, if you use one, we recommend Cressi Neoclean Wetsuit Wash or Revivex Wetsuit Shampoo to clean compatible neoprene. Wash that component separately according to its care label and the cleaner’s dilution instructions, then rinse thoroughly and dry in the shade. These neoprene cleaners are not a recommendation for the mask lens or a regulator assembly.
