Apeks Thermiq Dive Boots 6.5mm

The Apeks Thermiq Dive Boots 6.5mm provide practical foot coverage for diving and watersports. Choose this model for its listed upper, sole and entry design, and check the complete fit with your fins or drysuit socks before ordering.

Features and Details

• Graphene fleece lining on all panels provides warmth and even heat distribution without the need for a power source.
• Reduces water ingress and flushing with a side zip water dam to maintain warmth.
• Provides enhanced grip and increased protection with Vibram soles.
• Fins are kept secure and in place with an integrated rear fin keeper.
• Extra protection for heels and toes with bonded rubber areas.
• Super-stretchy limestone neoprene means boots are easy to put on and take off and flexible during use.
• Environmentally sensitive manufacturing using recycled car tires. Laminated with material from recycled bottles.

How the Features Help

• Underfoot support: The sole provides a contact surface between your foot and the ground. Its thickness, tread and stiffness affect walking comfort and how the boot fits inside an open-heel fin.
• Entry opening: A zip opens the upper to help guide your foot in and out. Open it fully when changing and clear sand from the track rather than forcing the slider.

Fit and Use

Measure both feet using the wall method: stand with your heel against a wall, mark the longest toe and measure the distance in centimetres. Compare the longer foot with the model’s size guide, then try the footwear with your intended socks and fins. Lycra fin socks can help reduce rubbing inside dive boots; allow space for any thicker neoprene socks or drysuit socks.

Additional Product Information

The Apeks Thermiq Dive Boots 6.5mm are a robust and durable wetsuit boot designed to protect your feet in and out of the water. The graphene fleece lining transfers heat from warmer to colder parts of the foot, equalizing the temperature to keep your feet warmer for the duration of your dive. Increases the temperature by an average of 2°C for enhanced comfort.

Gear Care and Washing

Dive Gear Australia recommends Cressi Neoclean Wetsuit Wash or Revivex Wetsuit Shampoo for compatible neoprene. Regular cleaning helps remove salt, chlorine and everyday residue and, together with thorough drying and proper storage, helps extend your gear’s life. Use the label dilution and follow this product’s care instructions.

Rinse inside and out in cool fresh water after every use to remove salt, chlorine, sand and residue. Gently hand wash when needed with a material-compatible wetsuit cleaner at its specified dilution, following the garment label, then rinse thoroughly.

Clear sand from the soles, zip and foot opening. Open the entry fully and dry the inside as well as the upper; remove an insole only if it is designed to be removable.

Allow both sides to dry completely in the shade with good airflow. Store clean and dry away from direct sunlight, heaters and hot cars. Avoid crushing the neoprene or leaving it folded sharply for long periods.

Protect smooth seals and coatings from fingernails, jewellery and scrubbing. Rinse any zip or fastener free of grit, and use only the maker’s approved lubricant where required. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, iron, bleach or use solvents.
