- Head / forehead: measure around the widest part of the head at forehead level, keeping the tape level.

The Waterproof H2 5/10mm sandwich hood combines an anatomical neoprene shape with extra insulation in key areas and a vent system for trapped air. Its sandwich face seal is designed for use with a suitable full-face mask, making the mask-and-hood fit an important part of your setup.

Fit and use
Choose a close, comfortable fit without restricting head movement or pressing uncomfortably on the jaw. Check the mask skirt, face opening and overlap with the suit collar together. Hood thickness alone does not establish a suitable temperature or dive duration.
More About This Model
The integrated HAVS (Hood Air Venting System) uses one-way valves to automatically release trapped air from the hood. This prevents uncomfortable air pockets, improves fit, and eliminates the “ballooning” effect often experienced when using full-face masks or during frequent mask clearing.

Gear Care and Washing
Rinse inside and out in cool fresh water after every use to remove salt, chlorine, sand and residue. Gently hand wash when needed with mild soap or a cleaner specifically authorised by Waterproof, following the garment label, then rinse thoroughly.
Keep any vent openings clear and settle face and neck seals gently when dressing. Dry the lining and inside of the hood fully before storage.
Allow both sides to dry completely in the shade with good airflow. Store clean and dry away from direct sunlight, heaters and hot cars. Avoid crushing the neoprene or leaving it folded sharply for long periods.
Protect smooth seals and coatings from fingernails, jewellery and scrubbing. Rinse any zip or fastener free of grit, and use only the maker’s approved lubricant where required. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, iron, bleach or use solvents.
