TUSA Paragon Corrective Prescription Lens

Designed specifically for the TUSA M-2001 Paragon Dive Mask, this premium negative-diopter lens helps short-sighted divers see gauges, marine life and underwater surroundings with greater clarity while scuba diving or snorkelling.

The lens combines prescription correction with CrystalView optical glass, UV420 filtering and anti-reflective treatment. Each serves a purpose: the selected dioptre provides vision correction, UV420 filters specific wavelengths, and the anti-reflective coating helps reduce reflections that can distract from your underwater view.

Each lens has a universal dual-side design, meaning the same lens fits either the left or right side of the mask. This makes it easy to select different strengths for each eye when required. Lenses are available from -1.5 to -6.0 diopters in 0.5 increments.

UV 420 Lens Treatment

UV420 treatment filters ultraviolet light and targets short-wavelength violet light around 400–420 nanometres. It reduces the amount of this light passing through the prescription lens to your eye, while the separate anti-reflective treatment reduces distracting lens reflections.

Reducing UV exposure is useful when diving and snorkelling, particularly during surface swimming where reflected sunlight adds to exposure. UV420 provides additional filtering at the violet end of visible light; the number describes a wavelength range, rather than a percentage of protection. Wear UV-blocking sunglasses on the boat or shore when your mask is off.

Anti-Reflective Lens Treatment

The advanced Anti-Reflective coating reduces reflected light from both sides of the lens. By minimising glare and unwanted reflections, it increases light transmission to as much as 95%, improving underwater colour, contrast and overall visual clarity.

CrystalView Optical Glass

TUSA CrystalView optical glass offers superior clarity and light transmission compared with conventional mask glass. Standard lenses may lose up to 15% of available light through impurities and reflections, while CrystalView technology transmits up to 95% of available light for a clearer, sharper underwater view.

Compatibility and Lens Selection

The TUSA Paragon Corrective Prescription Lens is compatible exclusively with the TUSA M-2001 Paragon Dive Mask. Each lens fits either side of the mask, but one lens is required for each eye.

Select the lens strength for each eye with advice from your optometrist if needed. Lenses are sold individually, and the two eyes may require different strengths.
