TUSA 2 Gauge SCA280E
The TUSA SCA280E places pressure and depth on two analogue dials in a compact console. With a maximum-depth indicator and temperature reading, it gives you useful dive references alongside your chosen timing and decompression instrument.
Features and benefits
- Pressure and depth in one check. The paired dials keep gas and depth readings together when you bring the console into view.
- Maximum-depth indicator. A separate marker retains the greatest depth reached, making it possible to review that value after the dive. Reset it according to the instructions before the next dive.
- Temperature reference. The temperature indication adds an environmental reading without another instrument.
- Luminous dials. Exposure to light charges the luminous faces for checks in reduced light.
- Protective boot and retaining points. The outer housing shields the instruments during handling, with attachment rings for a suitable clip or retainer.
Setup and compatibility
This metric console reads pressure to 400 bar, with a 300 bar working-pressure limit, and depth to 60 m. It contains pressure and depth instruments; use a separate compass if you need a heading reference. Analogue depth readings do not calculate no-decompression limits.
Have the HP connection installed and leak-checked on a compatible regulator. Position the console where both dials are visible and the hose can move without strain.
Care, rinsing and storage
After each dive, rinse the gauge and hose thoroughly with fresh water. Keep the complete regulator assembled, connected to a secured dive cylinder and pressurised while washing and rinsing, with the stages, gauge and connected hoses submerged. This helps keep water out of the pressure system. Lift the equipment out and dry the cylinder connection before depressurising and disconnecting; fit the first stage’s clean, dry dust cap.
Use fresh water and avoid solvents or silicone sprays. Allow the console to dry out of the sun and store the hose loosely curved, with no weight resting on the instrument. Check the hose, lens, connections and normal gauge movement before diving; keep pressure-relief openings clear. Arrange inspection by an authorised TUSA technician if there is a leak, damage, moisture inside or a doubtful reading.
