SeaLife SportDiver ULTRA Pro 2500 Set – iPhone & Android
This set combines the SportDiver Ultra housing with the Sea Dragon 2500F light kit for a compatible iPhone or Android phone. Check your exact phone against the SportDiver compatibility and fit guide before ordering.
The SportDiver Ultra combines a polycarbonate body, optical-glass lens port and metal hardware. Buoyancy depends on the phone and accessories fitted.
The SportDiver is easy to hold and use and offers a large shutter lever and rear control buttons for easy operation, even with dive gloves. Snorkelers and Divers can get more creative with their photos or video shot by using advanced camera settings*. Adjust Zoom, Exposure (EV), Auto/Manual Focus, White Balance, Tint, Lens selection, RAW+JPEG mode and 4K video (on available phone models).
The SportDiver housing includes the free SportDiver app; unlike other smartphone housing apps, there are no annoying in-app purchases or ads. You can easily switch between photo and video modes. The SportDiver App uses your phone’s camera technology native to each phone model. The app supports the present and previous versions of the OS; the app is updated according to new versions of the OS.
The App Playback mode shows full-size photos and videos with vertical thumbnail strip to easily locate your images. Playback behaviour depends on the installed app version. All files are also saved to the phone’s camera roll. The SportDiver housing automatically connects to your smartphone and the SportDiver app using Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE) 5 wireless technology. No cables or buttons touch the phone and it offers ultra-low power consumption for both the phone and the housing, which is powered by two AAA batteries that last over 50 hours of continuous use.
For enhanced imaging results, a removable underwater colour-correction filter is included with the SportDiver, which restores natural underwater colours. The filter is easily attached or removed underwater and includes a safety tether to prevent loss. The SportDiver housing features seven 1/4-20 accessory mounts, which connect to compatible lights or trays with the matching mounting thread and clearance, such as SeaLife’s range of Sea Dragon underwater photo/video lights.
The holding spring and rubber grip tabs keep the phone positioned inside the housing. The pre-dive vacuum analysis checks the seal before entering the water; a separate water sensor detects moisture. The vacuum-pressure alarm does not continue after the pre-dive test. A Moisture Muncher capsule helps reduce internal condensation.
*Important: Some settings may not be available depending on the phone’s make/model. Settings may be blocked out or not accessible, depending on conflicting settings. Available camera functions also depend on the installed app version. Lens selection settings may not include all available phone lenses; the available lenses depend on the Android phone model. Check the App Store and Play Store for SportDiver app updates.
Lighting and handling

- One-button brightness control lets you adjust the light as shooting conditions change.
- Flex-Connect fittings allow compatible grips and arms to be added when expanding the rig.
- The removable battery can be charged separately with the matching charger.
The light has protective circuitry and a pressure-release valve. These do not replace inspecting the battery, seals and equipment before use.

Sea Dragon EVA Case
*CRI is a measure of a light source’s ability to show object colors “realistically” or “naturally” compared to daylight, which has a CRI of 100 and represents the maximum value.
The beam angles for the Sea Dragon lights are shown as the true, tested “in-air” (above water) beam angle. Underwater, due to light refraction, the angle tightens to approximately 33% less.
Avoid using this Sea Dragon light above water for prolonged periods of time
The light is designed for underwater use and water is needed to displace heat. The metal light head at full power will reach temperature of about 140F (60C) degrees within a few minutes, which may cause burning if touched. A thermal sensor will automatically dim the light if internal temperatures reaches 150F (65C) degrees. Immediately turn off light if any parts of the light become hot to the touch.
Preparation and care
Inspect seals, complete the vacuum test and refit the check-port cap before diving. Afterwards, soak the sealed housing in fresh water and work the buttons. Dry before releasing vacuum or opening. Store dry with batteries removed and door unlatched; avoid detergents and spray-on sunscreen.
Rinse the sealed light after diving and dry it before opening the battery cap. Use the specified battery and charger, protect battery contacts during transport and storage, and avoid prolonged operation above water.
