Clearly identify scuba cylinders that have been designated for non-diving use with this durable Not for Underwater Use Warning Sticker.

This sticker is particularly important for scuba-style cylinders that are being used for applications such as PCP air rifle filling, workshop compressed air, surface-use air systems and other non-diving purposes. It provides an immediate visual warning that the cylinder is not approved or intended for underwater breathing use.

For Australian scuba cylinders, AS 2030.5 is used for diving-cylinder inspection intervals, while cylinders designated for non-diving applications can fall under different testing requirements. Dive Gear Australia’s hydrostatic testing information also specifies “Not for Underwater Use” identification for scuba tanks used for PCP/air-rifle filling under the applicable five-year testing arrangement.

When a scuba cylinder is hydrostatically tested and designated for this type of non-diving service, the Not for Underwater Use sticker should be applied immediately following the hydrostatic test so the cylinder’s intended use is clearly identified before it is filled, transported or returned to service.

This helps prevent a cylinder operating under non-diving inspection requirements from later being mistaken for a current scuba breathing-air cylinder and used underwater.

Made from UV-stabilised material, the sticker is designed for improved resistance to fading and deterioration from sunlight, saltwater and outdoor exposure.
