The dedicated seven-thread 300 bar DIN outlet provides a strong, secure connection for compatible DIN regulator first stages. Unlike convertible DIN/yoke valves, this high-pressure model is designed specifically for DIN regulators and cannot be converted for use with a yoke or A-clamp regulator.
Secure 300 Bar DIN Connection
The longer seven-thread female DIN outlet is engineered for high-pressure scuba systems rated up to 300 bar. The threaded connection securely captures the regulator O-ring inside the valve, helping protect it from impact and reducing the risk of accidental disconnection.
This makes the San-O-Sub valve an excellent choice for technical divers, professional operators and divers using high-pressure steel scuba cylinders.

3/4″-14 NPSM Cylinder Thread
This valve has a 3/4″-14 NPSM parallel inlet thread, used on many aluminium and steel scuba cylinders in Australia. An O-ring at the cylinder connection creates a secure seal when the valve is correctly installed in a compatible cylinder.
Cylinder neck threads that appear similar are not necessarily compatible. The cylinder’s exact thread specification must always be confirmed before installation.
