Cressi Pony Bottle Pressure Gauge SPG – 350 Bar
The Cressi Pony Bottle Pressure Gauge mounts directly into a compatible first-stage HP port, giving you a compact way to check cylinder contents without a separate gauge hose. It suits pony or auxiliary cylinder arrangements where the first stage and dial remain accessible.
Features and benefits
- Direct pressure connection. The 7/16–20 UNF thread connects to the regulator’s high-pressure port, reducing the space and hose routing needed for the pressure instrument.
- Stainless-steel construction. The metal body provides a compact housing for the dial, suited to careful use and transport with the regulator.
- Clear analogue indication. The pointer and pressure markings provide a battery-free contents check, including before a wireless computer system is switched on.
- Compact auxiliary reference. Mounting the gauge at the first stage can make it convenient for checking an accessible pony or stage cylinder before and during use.
Setup and compatibility
Have a qualified technician confirm port compatibility, clearance and sealing before fitting it. The dial reads to 350 bar. The listed compatibility up to 50% oxygen depends on the complete system’s gas compatibility, cleanliness and maintenance.
Choose a position you can actually read during the dive. A gauge hidden behind your head or under equipment is unsuitable as your only accessible pressure reference. Protect the projecting instrument from impacts when handling the cylinder.
Care, rinsing and storage
Rinse with fresh water after each dive while the gauge remains fitted to the correctly assembled regulator on a secured, pressurised cylinder. Keep the system pressurised during immersion. Lift the equipment out of the water and dry the cylinder connection before depressurising and disconnecting, then fit the first stage’s clean, dry dust cap.
Let the assembly dry in the shade and protect the projecting gauge from knocks during storage and transport. Check the lens, connection and seal for damage or leaks, and confirm that the pointer responds normally and returns to zero when depressurised. Have any moisture inside, sticking pointer or doubtful reading checked by a qualified technician. Preserve any cleanliness requirements for the gas used.
