The SEA&SEA Optical YS Converter/N1 turns a compatible Nikon camera’s hot-shoe signal into an optical strobe trigger. TTL and manual modes are supported in suitable MDX housings. Check the camera, housing, strobe, converter version and firmware; SEA&SEA Fibre-Optic Cable II is required.

The N1 converts a compatible Nikon camera’s hot-shoe signal into an optical trigger for suitable SEA&SEA strobes. Compatible housing controls allow TTL and manual modes to be selected.

Check SEA&SEA’s current camera, housing and strobe compatibility chart. Converter serial number and firmware matter: D850 use requires a suitable N1 version, and some strobes require an update. Cables and other camera-system components are separate.

Large or bulky gear: additional freight charges apply on top of standard shipping: large dive bags $30; long freediving fins $15; long spearguns $20. Scuba tank freight is shown at checkout.
