Gear Aid BALTA Camp Hatchet
The Gear Aid BALTA is a compact camp hatchet for campsite chopping and utility tasks. Its full-tang stainless-steel body combines a textured grip with a hammer surface and stake-pulling feature.
The supplied sheath covers the cutting edge during storage and transport. Use it as a camping tool, check the grip and sheath before use, and keep the edge clear of people and equipment while chopping.
Care and storage
Clean off dirt and moisture after use and dry the hatchet before storage. Maintain the edge following Gear Aid’s instructions and fit the sheath securely for transport. Inspect the blade, grip and sheath before use.

Contact us within 30 days of delivery to request a refund, exchange or optional store credit on eligible unused goods within Australia. Refunds go to the original payment method. Keep goods clean and undamaged with tags, original packaging and all accessories. No restocking fee applies to eligible returns meeting these conditions.
For change-of-mind returns and size exchanges, you pay return postage and replacement shipping. Original delivery charges are not refunded. Water-tested goods, clearly marked clearance items and genuinely custom-made or personalised items are excluded from change-of-mind returns. Ordinary discounted goods remain eligible.
