The Apollo AV-2 Evolution is a diver propulsion vehicle (DPV), also called an underwater scooter. It pairs an ABS housing and brushless motor with adjustable motor speed and a three-position variable-pitch propeller. The saddle supports hands-free riding. The single-hand control unit is an optional accessory.
Features and benefits
Motor-speed control and adjustable propeller pitch
Adjust the motor speed to change your pace as you travel. Propeller pitch is a separate setting: its three positions change the blade angle. These controls let you adjust the scooter for your riding position and dive conditions. Follow the procedures for your unit when changing settings.
Speed and battery endurance vary with the battery, propeller pitch, diver position, equipment and conditions. A headline performance figure does not apply to every setup.
A saddle-supported riding arrangement
The saddle supports your body in line with the scooter’s thrust. It gives you a hands-free riding position, rather than relying on your arms to hold you behind the scooter. Practise the position and controls with appropriate instruction before adding camera work or other tasks.
Useful operating indicators
The LED display gives a guide to remaining battery charge. Water-leak and overcurrent detection help monitor the scooter. They do not replace pre-dive checks, correct assembly or a conservative dive plan. If a warning appears, follow the instructions for your exact scooter and battery.

Endurance and speed depend on the battery, propeller pitch and riding conditions. Confirm the supplied battery, charger and accessories before ordering.
Care and operating limits
Apollo’s 70 m pressure-depth rating applies to a new housing. The limit decreases as the housing ages. Storage and use also affect it, so confirm the limit for your unit with Apollo.
Keep the battery compartment and electrical contacts clean and dry. Follow the supplied manual for rinsing, storage, servicing and care of your battery version.

Contact us within 30 days of delivery to request a refund, exchange or optional store credit on eligible unused goods within Australia. Refunds go to the original payment method. Keep goods clean and undamaged with tags, original packaging and all accessories. No restocking fee applies to eligible returns meeting these conditions.
For change-of-mind returns and size exchanges, you pay return postage and replacement shipping. Original delivery charges are not refunded. Water-tested goods, clearly marked clearance items and genuinely custom-made or personalised items are excluded from change-of-mind returns. Ordinary discounted goods remain eligible.
