The Apollo Bio-Metal Titanium Auroris is a Japanese-made, 60th anniversary mask for divers who appreciate distinctive materials and a carefully finished frame. Its iridescent titanium frame shifts through blue, purple and silver tones, paired with a black silicone skirt and bio-UV/AR lenses.
Features and benefits
- Titanium alloy frame. The slim metal construction combines low weight with corrosion resistance for a refined twin-lens design.
- UV/AR lenses. The lenses combine UV filtering with an anti-reflective coating to reduce unwanted reflections. This Auroris listing uses UV/AR lenses; it is a separate model from the UV420 titanium mask.
- Two skirt options. Choose Type C or Type D to suit your face. The skirt shape and seal matter more than the internal-volume figure alone.
- Individually numbered edition. Each mask carries its own engraved serial number, with production limited to 60 units worldwide.
- Protective carrying case. The supplied case keeps the mask separated from other equipment during transport and storage.
Fit and skirt options
Type C – 110 cc (MA01070C) and Type D – 95 cc (MA01070D) are different skirt configurations. The cc figures describe internal air volume, not facial measurements. Type D is the smaller-volume option; neither type guarantees a seal on a particular face.
Before choosing, check the seal around your forehead, cheeks and upper lip, and the clearance around your nose. Adjust the silicone strap gently rather than tightening it to compensate for a poor fit. Contact Dive Gear Australia during business hours for help comparing the two types.
What’s included
One Apollo Bio-Metal Titanium Auroris mask in your selected skirt type, with an exclusive carrying case. A particular serial number cannot be guaranteed.
Care and storage
Rinse the mask with fresh running water after use, flushing away sand before touching the coated lens surfaces. Do not polish the lenses with abrasive cleaners, toothpaste or abrasive cloths, and do not use a flame treatment.
Gently remove moisture with a clean, soft cloth once grit has been rinsed away. Dry in a ventilated place out of direct sunlight and store the dry mask in its case without distorting the skirt. Inspect the lenses, skirt, strap and adjusters before diving.
