Apeks ThermiQ Dry / Dry Advanced Mens Drysuit Size Chart

Size guide based on Apeks sizing information.

Body measurements in centimetres (cm). Weight is shown in kilograms (kg).

This shared size guide applies to both the ThermiQ Dry and ThermiQ Dry Advanced drysuits. Check the size offered on this product before ordering.

How to measure

Ask someone to help. Stand upright and barefoot. Keep the measuring tape level around your body and close without pulling it tight.

Height: measure from the floor to the top of your head.
Chest or bust: measure around the fullest part of your chest.
Waist: measure around your natural waist.
Hips: measure around the widest part of your hips.
Forearm and bicep: measure around the fullest part of each area with your arm relaxed.
Thigh and calf: measure around the widest part of each area.
Crotch to floor: measure down the inside of your leg from the crotch to the floor.
Spine to wrist: ask your helper to measure from the base of your neck at the centre of your back, across your shoulder and down your arm to your wrist.
Weight: record your weight in kilograms.

Check the complete fit: try the drysuit with the undergarments and thermal socks you intend to wear. Check that you can breathe comfortably, bend your knees and reach forward without restriction. Check the integrated neoprene socks with your outer drysuit boots. Contact Dive Gear Australia if your measurements span sizes.

Apeks ThermiQ Dry Advanced Drysuit Men's ML

The Apeks ThermiQ Dry Advanced Drysuit Men’s ML provides a sealed outer layer for scuba diving, with the construction and equipment details listed below. Match the fit to your intended undergarments so you can move comfortably and use the suit’s inflation and exhaust controls.

Features and Details

Trilaminate fabric.
Cordura overlays.
YKK Aquaseal dry zip with protective cover.
Replaceable neck and oval wrist seals.
Neoprene socks.
Internal suspenders.
Cargo pockets with internal bungee loops.
Apeks inflation and exhaust valves.
Inflator hose and changing-mat bag included.

How the Features Help

A complete exposure system: The suit’s sealed outer construction works with separately chosen undergarments. Check the suit and insulation together so the layers do not restrict movement or interfere with the seals.
Dedicated storage: Thigh pockets keep accessories close to the body. Use the internal attachment points supplied and arrange items so they remain accessible in your usual diving position.

Fit and Use

Compare your measurements with the model’s size guide and check the fit wearing the intended base layers, insulation and footwear. Reach overhead, bend and adopt your normal diving position without pulling tightly across the shoulders or crotch. Select the complete insulation system for your conditions, duration and personal needs; use a drysuit with appropriate training and the supplied instructions.

Additional Product Information

This trilaminate drysuit combines nylon and butyl rubber with reinforced panels in high-wear areas. The current listing is for the men’s Medium Large size.

Check fit with the intended undergarments and footwear. Follow the suit instructions for seal replacement, zip care and maintenance.

Gear Care and Washing

Rinse the suit’s exterior with fresh water after each dive, paying attention to the zip, valve exteriors and areas that collect salt or sand. Clean the seals and wash the suit only using the method and cleaner approved by the suit manufacturer.

If the inside needs cleaning or has become wet, follow the manual for internal rinsing and drying. Dry the inside and outside completely in a shaded, ventilated place, supporting the suit on a suitable wide drysuit hanger.

Keep the dry zip clean and use only the zip maker’s specified lubricant and application points. Follow its required open or closed position for drying and storage, and avoid bending the zip sharply. Maintain latex, silicone or neoprene seals using the instructions for that exact material.

Do not machine wash, iron, tumble dry or use solvents or strong detergents. Store cool and dry away from sunlight, heaters and ozone sources. Inspect seals, seams, zip and valves before diving and follow the manufacturer’s service schedule.
