Apeks TEK Gauge (SPG) 300 Bar
The Apeks TEK SPG combines a black dial with luminous numbers and a luminous pointer in a compact metal housing. With a choice of short or standard-length HP hose, it suits different regulator layouts while keeping pressure information on a separate mechanical instrument.
Features and benefits
- Black-face contrast. The light markings stand out against the dark background. After light exposure, the luminous numbers and pointer help with checks in reduced light.
- Metal housing and glass lens. The chrome-plated housing and tempered-glass lens provide a durable instrument assembly; the hard viewing surface still needs protection from impacts.
- Choice of hose routing. The 18 cm option suits layouts that keep the gauge close to the first stage, while the 67 cm option offers more reach. Choose according to the actual regulator and cylinder arrangement.
- Swivel connection. The included HP swivel spool allows the correctly assembled gauge connection to move for positioning without twisting the hose.
- Built-in pressure relief. An overpressure relief valve provides an escape path if pressure enters the gauge housing. Keep it unobstructed.
Setup and compatibility
Select the required hose option before ordering; the supplied hose follows that selection. The metric instrument has a 0–360 bar dial and a maximum working pressure of 300 bar. Have a qualified technician fit the HP assembly, confirm gas compatibility and leak-check the connections. Make sure the dial remains accessible with the complete kit on.
Care, rinsing and storage
After each dive, rinse the gauge and hose thoroughly with fresh water. Keep the complete regulator assembled, connected to a secured dive cylinder and pressurised while washing and rinsing, with the stages, gauge and connected hoses submerged. This helps keep water out of the pressure system. Lift the equipment out and dry the cylinder connection before depressurising and disconnecting; fit the first stage’s clean, dry dust cap.
Let the equipment dry in the shade, then store it with the hose in a relaxed curve. Protect the instrument from impacts and avoid lifting the regulator or cylinder by the gauge hose. Before diving, inspect the lens, hose and fittings, check for leaks and confirm that the needle responds normally and returns to zero when fully depressurised. Have damage, internal moisture or an unreliable reading checked by an authorised technician.
