Apeks Pressure Gauge + Depth Gauge
The Apeks Pressure and Depth Gauge Console keeps two analogue dive readings together in a protected housing. Its luminous faces and maximum-depth indicator suit divers who want a separate mechanical reference alongside a dive computer or planned timing system.
Features and benefits
- Paired pressure and depth dials. Bringing the console into view lets you check cylinder pressure and current depth together.
- Resettable maximum-depth marker. The marker retains the greatest depth reached, giving you a useful post-dive reference. Reset it using the manufacturer’s procedure before each dive.
- Phosphorescent faces. The dials remain visible after light exposure, helping you read the markings in reduced light.
- Protected pressure instrument. The nickel-plated brass body and anti-splinter polycarbonate window provide a robust housing around the gauge.
- Retaining points and supplied hose. Two attachment areas help position the console securely, while the included HP hose connects it to a compatible regulator.
- Overpressure capsule. The pressure-gauge housing includes a relief provision for an internal fault; keep the outlet clear.
Setup and compatibility
The assembly includes the high-pressure hose and protective console housing. Have the connection fitted and leak-checked, and leave enough movement to read both instruments without bending the hose sharply. The depth gauge provides a measurement, not decompression calculations.
The pressure gauge uses oxygen-compatible materials, but this standard version is not supplied oxygen-clean. Use only gases approved for the complete configured system and have any oxygen-service requirements assessed by an appropriately qualified technician.
Care, rinsing and storage
After each dive, rinse the gauge and hose thoroughly with fresh water. Keep the complete regulator assembled, connected to a secured dive cylinder and pressurised while washing and rinsing, with the stages, gauge and connected hoses submerged. This helps keep water out of the pressure system. Lift the equipment out and dry the cylinder connection before depressurising and disconnecting; fit the first stage’s clean, dry dust cap.
Let the equipment dry in the shade, then store it with the hose in a relaxed curve. Protect the instrument from impacts and avoid lifting the regulator or cylinder by the gauge hose. Before diving, inspect the lens, hose and fittings, check for leaks and confirm that the needle responds normally and returns to zero when fully depressurised. Have damage, internal moisture or an unreliable reading checked by an authorised technician.
