The Apeks MTX-RC Single Cylinder Set with Long Hose is designed for the diver that prefers an extended hose configuration on a single cylinder. It is also the perfect set-up for the recreational diver looking to transition into twinset diving in the future, as the addition of another first stage creates a twinset regulator configuration.
Combining rugged, military-grade engineering with the super-smooth breathing experience that Apeks regulators are renowned for, the MTX-RC single cylinder set dives your way.
Featuring the same freeze-resistant technology enjoyed by the whole MTX-R range, the MTX-RC resists free flows in even the coldest temperatures, while offering the user the additional flexibility to dial it out for a comfortable breathe in less extreme environments.
All this is achieved using an innovative first stage design that protects the regulator from freezing and a full set of user controls on the second Stage to adjust the breathing performance based on the diver’s individual needs. Regulator kit Includes a tactical style messenger bag to keep your regulators safe on your travels. Perfectly sized for a laptop, it’s also your new work bag!

MTX-RC First Stage Features:
- Satin plated brass body with heat exchanging ribs for maximum thermal performance
- .Break through, innovative over-moulded first-stage endcap and environmental diaphragm help prevent ice build-up that can cause first stage free flow in extreme circumstances. Also protects the first stage from impact damage. Ribbed diaphragm clamp for improved heat exchange in cold water conditions.
- Unique over-balanced diaphragm design – as the diver descends, the over-balancing feature allows the medium pressure gas in the hose to increase at a faster rate than ambient. This results in superior performance at depth.
- 5 x medium pressure ports, 4 mounted on a rotating turret for improved hose orientation
- 2 x angled high-pressure ports for optimal hose routing and fitting of transmitters.
- Has a Double swivel hose for greater freedom of movement and comfort.
- Easy to grip DIN hand-wheel or over-moulded yoke hand-wheel, only requires one hand to release.
- DIN, Yoke and M26 Thread available, 300bar, 232bar and M26 300bar (O2) respectively.
- Is tested for Octopus use – EN250A to 60 metres cold water.
- Nitrox/Oxygen compatible – Up to 40% O2 outside the EU (European Union), within the EU anything above 21% O2 must use an M26 Connection.
MTX-RC 2nd Stages
- Has built-in protective bumpers to protect the second Stages from impacts and scratches in there most vulnerable places.
- Ergonomic and simple to use venturi lever.
- Oversize breathing effort adjuster makes adjustment easy in cold water while wearing gloves.
- Large purge button.
- MTX-RC are reversible second Stage for either a left or right-hand gas supply configuration.
- A heat exchanger (patented) dissipates the cold caused by gas expansion while drawing in the warmth of the ambient water for more comfortable breathing.
- Regulators feature an innovative Diver Changeable Exhaust system (DCE). The system gives the diver the ability to change from a small exhaust tee to a large exhaust tee. The regulator is supplied with both sets of exhaust tees.
- Comfo-bite mouthpiece
- Has flexible nylon braided hose, which has better cold water performance than traditional rubber hose.

Bungee Connector Kit:
The bungee connector system has been designed as a neat storage solution for your backup regulator and can be configured according to a diver’s personal preference.
The system also has a lockout feature for retaining a regulator in the mouth of an unconscious diver during a rescue situation.

How Products are Shipped
Orders are sent via Australia Express Post, Couriers Please, Startrack and Australia Post.
PO Box and Parcel Locker addresses are shipped via Australia Post; however, We cannot ship large items to these addresses, so you will need to provide a residential or business address.
All smaller items and as many as possible are sent via Australia Express Post for a speedy delivery.
Large Item Shipping Costs
Due to the increased freight costs, some large items incur an extra shipping fee in addition to the Flat rate shipping cost.

Shipping Time Frame
All orders are usually shipped the same day if ordered before 12 pm or 1-3 days after the initial purchase. At DGA, We only use reputable couriers that offer excellent service and fast delivery. Rural locations may take longer to arrive.
Shipping Rural and Remote, Offshore islands and Territories of Australia
In rural and remote parts of Australia, shipping will depend on the availability of our shipping companies that can transport your goods to you. We always choose the fastest way possible.
Please note our flat rate of $20 is based on delivery to mainland Australia. Some Rural parts of Australia, Offshore islands and Territories of Australia may incur additional postage costs due to the remote location, which means our DGA Customer Service team will contact you or the extra shipping costs.

Hassle-Free Easy 30-Day Returns Policy
We understand that the product that you have purchased may not suit or fit you. For us to best assist you in preparing for a return or exchange, please read the following information carefully before returning a product.
DGA Dive Gear Australia offers you a 30-day exchange policy on most products within Australia for all goods that are unused and in a saleable condition. This means:
Eligibility Conditions
- The product and packaging are undamaged, unworn, unmarked and where applicable with tags still attached.
- Must include all packing material, manuals, blank warranty cards, and accessories.
- If you believe your product is faulty, please refer to the faulty items section below.
- Dive Gear Australia is not responsible for misuse of products or poor treatment of goods including proper care and servicing or equipment on time.
- Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be received within 7 business days of receipt of merchandise.
If a product comes back and meets the standards above, we will offer you an exchange for a different size or a product of the same value.
If a product is returned to us that has been worn, used in water or is damaged, Your return may not be accepted and the goods shipped back to you at your expense.
We do not offer refunds for a change of mind or if you have ordered the wrong product. Please refer to this guideline by the ACCC. Refunds

Return and Exchange Shipping
Unless an item is defective, If you need to exchange or return an incorrect product, please send the item back with a copy of your invoice and any instructions or information we might need. Our customer service team will contact you as soon as we receive the goods for any charges and the cost of the return freight.

Clearance and Non-returnable Items
Special order merchandise or any item indicated on the website as non-returnable is as such.
Clearance items are not refundable and may not be returned unless there is a clear warranty issue or fault with the product. We will exchange as long as stock is available of the same item.
Refund and Credits
Please allow up to 14 days for a credit to appear on your account from the received date. We will issue your refund in the same way you made the original purchase, minus the original cost of shipping.
Click & Collect – LOCAL PICK-UP
Shop online and then collect your order in-store with our Click & Collect service. (Melbourne and Victoria customers only).
This means you can order your favourite product online and pick it up from our store, limiting the need for physical contact with our team.
Once your order’s processed, you’ll receive a confirmation email letting you know that your order is ready for collection.
