Apeks Lifeline Ascend Reel 60m
Keep your DSMB setup organised with a dedicated handled reel. The Apeks Lifeline Ascend 60m gives you a defined grip for deployment and retrieval, with winding that can be configured for your preferred hand.
Features and benefits
- Rubber handle: offers a secure gripping surface with bare hands or diving gloves.
- Configurable winding: lets you arrange the reel for left- or right-handed use to suit your equipment layout.
- 60m of high-visibility line: makes the deployed line easier to follow in low light.
- Integrated Apeks SMB attachment: keeps a compatible Apeks SMB and reel together for stowage. The SMB is sold separately.

Choosing and using your line
Select line length for your planned use, allowing for conditions and the line needed for attachments. Stated line length is not a maximum operating-depth rating. Practise deployment within your training and keep loose line clear of yourself, your buddy and equipment. DSMB sold separately.
Care and storage
Rinse with fresh water after diving, removing salt and grit from the line, moving parts and attachment hardware. Allow everything to dry in the shade before storage. Check the line for cuts, fraying and worn connections, and check that the spool or reel moves freely before each dive.
