Apeks Lifeline Halo Spool 30m
Prefer a spool with more room to grip? The Apeks Lifeline Halo uses a large-diameter design to support controlled DSMB deployment and line retrieval, including when wearing thick gloves.
Features and benefits
- Large-diameter design: offers a generous handling area for winding and retrieving line.
- 30m of orange line: makes the line easier to see in low-light conditions.
- Line swivel: helps reduce twisting as the line deploys.
- One-piece aluminium body: provides a rigid spool with an anodised finish.
- Release tabs: help you locate and handle the line end with gloves.
- Included stainless-steel bolt snap: lets you clip the spool securely into your stowed equipment setup.

Choosing and using your line
Select line length for your planned use, allowing for conditions and the line needed for attachments. Stated line length is not a maximum operating-depth rating. Practise deployment within your training and keep loose line clear of yourself, your buddy and equipment. DSMB sold separately.
Care and storage
Rinse with fresh water after diving, removing salt and grit from the line, moving parts and attachment hardware. Allow everything to dry in the shade before storage. Check the line for cuts, fraying and worn connections, and check that the spool or reel moves freely before each dive.
