TUSA Sport youth semi-dry snorkel
The TUSA Sport USP-140 is a youth snorkel with a silicone mouthpiece, a Hyperdry splash-control top and a lower purge valve. Its smaller mouthpiece gives younger snorkellers a more appropriate starting point than a full-size adult bite.
Features and benefits
- Youth mouthpiece: The silicone bite is sized for younger users. Check that your child can hold it comfortably and seal their lips without stretching or clenching.
- Hyperdry semi-dry top: The splash-control design helps reduce water entering from above while the opening is at the surface. It does not close like a dry-top valve.
- Drain chamber and purge valve: Collected water has an outlet below the mouthpiece, helping your child clear the snorkel once they have learned the technique.
- Mask attachment: The keeper secures the tube beside a compatible mask strap so you can adjust its position before swimming.
Fit and use
Choose by mouthpiece comfort, the child’s size and their ability to use and clear a snorkel—not age alone. Have them practise in shallow water with close adult supervision. The mask is sold separately.
Use the snorkel for breathing at the surface with its opening above the water. Clear any water before taking your next breath; a snorkel does not supply air while submerged.

Care and storage
Flush the tube and mouthpiece with fresh water after use, including the splash guard and lower purge valve. Let it air-dry in the shade and store it away from heat and direct sunlight. Check the mouthpiece, keeper and valve for wear or trapped sand before each swim.
